Texas A&M – Commerce at TCU (-26) (O/U 149)
TCU didn’t play a home game in the month of December. Rare thing to do in the non-conference portion of the schedule for a Big 12 team. The Horned Frogs played their last 3 games in Hawaii before Christmas Eve.
Christmas was already a week ago, and this TCU should be well-rested. This will be their 7th time this season, laying over 25 points. The Texas A&M-Commerce Lions were unable to cover against Texas A&M and Texas Tech to start the season, and I don’t expect them to cover in this spot, either.

UT-Arlington at Texas (-18.5) (O/U 145.5)
The focus on the Texas Longhorns certainly is not on the basketball court today. The university will prepare for its college playoff football game tonight against the Washington Huskies. UT-Arlington will try to catch them in a sleepy spot on New Year’s Day.
The Mavericks are winless on the road, but they just need to cover. They are good against the spread sitting at 7-3 on the season. The Mavericks were also able to cover against top competition multiple times this year. Let’s bet on them being able to get inside this number at Texas today with their focus and attention on the upcoming Big 12 conference games.
