We have mid-week college hoops! Off a 1-1 Monday, we look to get back to the mini-sweep ways. We have a few really fun games on this Wednesday evening slate so let’s not waste more time. Here are the College Basketball Picks for December 20th.

Vermont at Toledo (-3.5) (O/U 148)
A staple of Mid-Major success over the last decade, meet up at The Savage Arena. Both Vermont and Toledo have seen early success in their 23-24 campaigns. The Catamounts already have a win over Charleston, which is very impressive. On the other hand, the Rockets have an excellent win on the road against Wright State.
These two teams are strong on both ends but are not shy to light up the scoreboard. I expect both of these teams to feed off each other and put points on the board. Another look towards the total here. Let’s go with the over.

Xavier at St. John’s (-3) (O/U 156)
Big East opener for Rick Pitino in the St. John’s era. This game will be played in the smaller Carnesecca Arena rather than Madison Square Garden. With that being said, this place will be jam-packed, and the energy will be wicked inside this place.
Sean Miller has done a great job getting this injury-ridden Musketeers team up for big spots. On the other hand, St. John’s early season struggles are all but in the past. They have come together as a team and look to have put the pieces together.
