A lovely weekend of college hoops. We saw some sweet upsets, a few big favorites take care of business, and even some buzzer beaters. We move on to another week. Let’s keep the cash flowing. Here are the College Basketball Picks for December 18th.

College Basketball Picks December 18th
Coastal Carolina at Charleston (-14.5) (O/U 156.5)
Charleston continues to be one of the best mid-major programs in the nation, and they have another chance to prove that today. They host the Chants from Conway, South Carolina, as Coastal takes the short drive south to Charleston.
Charleston finds themselves as decent favorites here, and it is well deserved. They have won five of their last six after the 1-3 start and look like they have hit a groove. Early on, The Cougs struggled to hit shots from deep, but they seemed to have fixed that problem. This is their third straight home game, which means they are comfortable and ready to fire.
With that being said, The Cougars have a very solid team in Saint Joseph’s ahead, and we could surely call it a look-ahead spot. I have this game at -12, and we see a spread of 14.5, so we will buy the two points of value with the visiting Chants.
The Pick: Coastal Carolina +14.5
UT Rio Grande Valley at Chicago State (-2.5) (O/U 144.5)
I was optimistic about this Chicago State team during the first week of the season, and they have proved it. Coming off back-to-back wins for the first time in God knows how long, they are home favorites.
Deserved, yes. Buying, no. This Chicago State team is different than years past, but I still have not seen enough from them to buy them as favorites.
Coming off back-to-back wins, it is only a matter of time before they reel off a few losses. This is an easy handicap for this one, we are buying the road dogs. Roll Vaqueros
