College Basketball Picks December 12th
Monmouth at Seton Hall (-14.5) (O/U 142.5)
This is a perfect spot game. Monmouth heads up the Parkway to take on in-state rival Seton Hall. The Pirates are coming off a dramatic loss to their real in-state rival, Rutgers, just a few days ago. On the other hand, Monmouth is coming off a neck-and-neck battle with Northern Illinois that ended with a Jakari Spence buzzer-beater and a Hawks win.

Seton Hall staff and players were visibly upset after losing to Rutgers and have another chance to take care of business against a New Jersey team tonight. Monmouth is riding high off one of their biggest wins of the season and has to face a hungry Seton Hall team here. The Pirates are, without a doubt, a better team in every aspect, as they are bigger and more physical. Look for the Pirates to come out quickly and win by 20 in this one.

Georgia Southern at Tennessee (-31.5) (O/U 146.5)
Very interesting spot here for the Vols. They are coming off a very solid win against Illinois at home and have fellow Power Five opponent in NC State coming to visit next. That game against Illinois was a top-20 matchup and lived up to the hype. Knoxville was ROCKING, and the game was electric.

Georgia Southern is 0-9 but is not as bad as their record shows. They have dealt with some injuries and bad shooting variance to start the season. Besides having a 0-9 record in the wins and loss column, they are 0-9 against the spread. It is only a matter of time before the market corrects itself and the Georgia Southern Eagles cover a spread.
Besides this, Tennessee will have some key players resting up here. Spark plug Zakai Zeigler is already on a minute restriction and will definitely not be playing a ton here. I think The Vols will let some backup’s get some run and the market will find its way towards level, we’re taking the dogs (Eagles)!
