Mid-week hoops action is back. Hope you guys enjoyed that beautiful Monday Night slate as we swept the short board. Purdue covered the 12.5 with ease, and the Furman-Arkansas game soared over the total. Let’s do it again tonight! Here are the College Basketball Picks for December 4th.

College Basketball Picks December 6th
Bryant (-8.5) at Siena (O/U 139.5)
The initial NET rankings came out a few days ago, and the Siena Saints were surprisingly low. With losing all the talent from last year’s squad, we knew they would have a bit of a down year, but they have been downright bad. In comes Bryant, who is 5-4 on the year and looking to get back to the NCAA Tournament.
Over the last few years, Bryant has been so up and down on a game-by-game basis. More times than not, they have a more talented roster than their opponent and that will be the case again here. The problem with Bryant is that they constantly play down to their opponent.
They have a game coming up against Cincinnati, which could be a potential look-ahead spot but they do have one against Stony Brook in between. I believe Bryanr will have their full focus on, and the talent will overwhelm this BAD Siena team. Plug your nose and lay the points.
The Pick: Bryant -8.5
Memphis (-2.5) at VCU (O/U 141.5)
Scheduling and results are a massive part of College Basketball handicapping. With a one-point spread in a hostile atmosphere, the home team is almost always the answer. Memphis started off 5-0 but has lost two straight against good teams and has a chance to make up for those losses and add a great win to the resume. Although VCU is 4-4 and probably not an NCAA Tournament team this season, The Siegel Center is always a very difficult place to play.
Memphis is by far the better team, and we are getting a bit of a discounted price. If Memphis were to have won those close games, this spread would be four or five. I generally don’t do this, but I will ride with the small road favorites in Memphis.
The Pick: Memphis -2.5
