Not to mention, he registered an assist and two goals against the Sabres in Buffalo on opening night. The Rangers have been one of the hottest teams in the NHL in November, and that’s in large part due to Chris Kreider. ‘Tis the season for helping and giving. Victor Hedman Higher Than 0.5 Assists
Loyal readers of the Quick Pick are accustomed to seeing frequent flyers utilized, and the Lightning defenseman has become one. Hedman has put together a fine 2023 season with four goals and 18 assists. And each time we call upon him, he tends to get us home within the 1st period of action. Monday night, the Lightning will travel to Colorado, and the defenseman brings along a three-game assist streak. The Avalanche are also a team Hedman enjoys, as he has two assists across their last four meetings. So ask for a helping of Hedman. The Capitals have won six of their last nine, and on Monday, they’ll look to make it seven in San Jose. The veteran American defenseman has four assists in his last five games and will be needed in the big moments. Rewind the clock back to 10/29, and Carlson logged two assists against these same Sharks in Washington. The defenseman also routinely logs heavy ice time and is a staple on the Capitals’ power play.
