College Basketball Picks – November 25, 2023
Alabama vs Oregon (+8.5) (O/U 160)
Alabama suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Crimson Tide have cruised through the early portion of their schedule with high-paced and highly efficient offense. Running into the Buckeyes in the Emerald Coast Classic proved to be a test that the Crimson Tide needed. Ohio State was the first high major that Alabama had seen this season. The Buckeyes confirmed all of Alabama’s concerns. Defense. Ohio State grabbed onto the lead before halftime and never looked back. Alabama’s inability to get two stops in a row will be a serious concern with their schedule coming up.
A shorthanded Oregon team should be a nice recipe for a bounce-back spot for the Crimson Tide, even if Alabama can’t clean up their defense overnight.

Santa Clara vs Ohio State (-6.5) (O/U 148.5)
Santa Clara was able to hold off Oregon’s late push in their own Emerald Coast Classic game Friday. Adama Bal led Santa Clara against the shorthanded Oregon Ducks with 25 points. Oregon was and will be without N’Faly Dante and Nate Bittle. Two deciding factors for Oregon in the post and a reason Santa Clara was able to hang 88 points.
Fully healthy Ohio State will be a step up in competition compared to the Oregon Ducks. The Buckeyes outpaced the Crimson Tide offensively behind Bruce Thornton’s 29 points. Santa Clara is 6-0 and should hang tough with the Buckeyes. However, the talent and back-to-back days will prove to be too much for Adama Bal and the Broncos. Backing Ohio State to continue to roll out of this tournament. Ohio State is a clear favorite among the best bets for all the college basketball action on November 25.
