Each week on DraftKings, one of the keys to building a good lineup is unlocking good value plays. You may only need two or three of these players in your lineup, but they’ll unlock the ability to play stud players with incredibly high ceilings. I’ve outlined the best value plays at each position on DraftKings for Week 12.

Best Week 12 DraftKings Value Plays
Quarterback:
Baker Mayfield ($5.5K) – Mayfield has provided a decent floor all season, and if touchdown variance breaks his way on passing touchdowns, then he’ll easily pay off this price. He’s my favorite points-per-dollar QB play under $6K this week.
Gardner Minshew ($5.1K) – In the same matchup, Minshew is also a great cheap QB target going against the Buccaneers pass funnel defense. Coming off a bye week could be an extra boost to Minshew and the Colts’ offense.
Running back:
James Conner ($5.9K) – I’m going back to Conner this week since he’s still priced under 6K. He got 16 touches in week 11 and rushed for 4.4 yards per carry. If the touchdown variance breaks his way, he will easily pay off this price tag.
Jaylen Warren ($5.4K) OR Najee Harris ($4.9K) – The Steelers may have a split backfield now, but both backs are getting enough touches to consider at these prices. I would not play them together, but choose your favorite Steelers running back. People may be more drawn to Warren now after back-to-back 100-yard games. But if Harris is coming in much less owned, he could be interesting because of his volume and goal line touches.
HONORABLE MENTION: Rhamondre Stevenson ($5.8K), Jerome Ford ($5.6K)
Wide Receiver:
Rashid Shaheed ($4.3K) – With Michael Thomas on IR, Shaheed should get more targets. He’s already had three spike weeks this season (over 15 DK points) and now has even more opportunity for a big week.
Khalil Shakir ($3.6K) – Shakir is coming off a big week 11 where he had 23.5 DK points. You can’t expect that every week, but he’s in 3-wide receiver sets on a top offense with one of the higher team totals for week 12.
HONORABLE MENTION: Tutu Atwell ($4.1K), Trenton Irwin ($3.2K), Justin Watson ($3.0K)
Tight End:
-Cade Otten ($3.2K) – Otten has four receptions in four of his last five games. He pairs nicely with Mayfield, whom I mentioned earlier.
-Michael Mayer ($2.8K) – Back on the list this week, Mayer is too cheap for his expanding role. He had five targets for the second week in a row in week 11. Look for him to be a safe target for QB Aidan O’Connell moving forward and vs. the Chiefs this week.
HONORABLE MENTIOeN: Hunter Henry ($3.4K), Pat Friermuth ($2.9K), Chig Okonkwo ($3.1K)
