Finally, a somewhat decent field ahead of this 2023 RSM Classic. Heading to Sea Island, we know what we are getting. The RSM Classic is a staple PGA Tour stop that the shorter hitters absolutely love. This course rewards accurate driving and great wedge play. Like any coastal resort-style course, the only real defense is wind. As of now, it looks like we will see some steady wind as well as rain over the first two days of golf. This could limit scoring a tad but will put a greater emphasis on the key stats we are looking for. Let’s take a look at this RSM Classic DFS slate.

2023 RSM Classic: Best DFS Plays by Range
Upper Range
Russell Henley $9,700
Georgia Boy, Ryder Cup Snub narrative (this is a joke), and PERFECT course fit, why would you not want Russell Henley on a course like this? Just last year, he won in a very similar field and type of golf course. Although he has not played golf this fall, this is a course he has had great success on. In eight trips, Henley has made the cut in six of eight appearances, as well as three top tens. Henley is a great click to start to RSM Classic DFS lineups this week.
Akshay Bhatia $8,100
I will buy the flog lag on Akshay Bhatia for this week. He was extremely popular at the Bermuda Championship and finished off with a 20th-place finish. Not bad, but nothing crazy. We did not have strokes gained last week, but Bhatia ranked 14th in driving accuracy and 7th in greens in regulation. That is elite stuff and shows he did not putt well. If the weather is a factor this week, that will limit scoring and bode well for Bhatia’s game.
Adam Long has a chance for PGA TOUR history with his first shot on Thursday.

Mid Range
Adam Long $7,500
If we’re talking driving accuracy, we’re playing Adam Long. Long is coming off four straight made cuts, each of which has gotten better. T35’s at Sanderson and Shriners, T23 at El Cardinal, and a T12 at The Bermuda. He is in prime form at a golf course that suits his game perfectly. Long just set a PGA Tour record for fairways hit. He provides a low floor with some nice upside as well.
Doug Ghim $7,400
I like the Ghim Reaper in a bounce-back spot. He is coming off a missed cut, T15, and missed the cut. This is a golf course that suits his game well as he can lean into the accurate driver prowess and solid wedge game. Ghim will not be highly owned and has great upside as well. This is a great buy spot for Doug Ghim.
Bottom Range
Max McGreevy $6,200
How can we not go back to our guy Max M here? Coming off a made cut and heading to a course that suits his game perfectly. Like I always say, McGreevy does two things well. Hits his wedges close and putts on Bermuda. Pencil in Max as the last leg in your RSM Classic DFS lineups.
