Week 7 College Football DFS is here, and there is one question we are all asking. It’s not if, but how many players will we need from Oregon-Washington? This game has the highest total on the slate and has every making to shoot out. This game will be popular and chalky, so let’s pivot to a lesser-owned game on the slate that has shootout potential.
College Football Week 7 DFS Picks
Illinois @ Maryland -14 O/U 51
It’s not a super high total, but I believe that this game has the ability to treat your lineups well. Maryland has an extremely firey offense. They are coming off a game at Ohio State where they had a third quarter lead, and then the wheels really fell off. Illinois has had ups and downs, but they have been seen in the winning lineups multiple times. This is a nice way to stack your college football Week 7 lineups without getting too chalky.
Quarterback: Taulia Tagovailoa $8,200
Taulia is averaging just under 30 fantasy points per game and is a true alpha on the field. Not only is he the game manager of this Terps offense, but he is one of the best athletes on the field. Tagovailoa can do it both with his arms and legs. He is a great start to your Week 7 DFS lineups.
Wide Receiver Isaiah Williams $5,500
Isaiah Williams is the target monster for this Illini offense. He nearly doubles any other player on his team in receptions and yards. At 5.5K, he is a great addition to this stack without breaking the bank.
Tight End: Corey Dyches $3,900
Cheap tight ends rarely pan out, but I believe Dyches provides some great upside for his price point. The Maryland receivers are a tough group to predict as the target share is extremely even and random. Dyches will be a great redzone target for Taulia and will give your Week 7 college football DFS lineups some serious room at 3.9k.
Honorable Mentions
Running Back: Trey Benson $7,200
What is stopping us from going right back to Benson, who was a key piece last week? This Florida State rushing attack has been better than expected, and I do not see Syracuse as the team to slow them down. They’re rushing defense is in the bottom half of the ACC. I would expect the Noles to pound the rock as they preserve the health of QB Jordan Travis for the latter half of the season.
Wide Receiver: Jermaine Burton $6,800
What happens when the Alabama coaching staff lets Jalen Milroe air it out? Burton puts up a 9 reception, 197 yards, and 2 touchdown stat line. That was against an extremely solid Texas A&M defense as well.
Arkansas will pose half the resistance that A&M did, which should give all the makings of an Alabama blowout. The Crimson Tide are in that spot where they have no choice but to blow teams out if they want to gain the respect they believe they deserve.
