The growth of “Pick ’em” daily fantasy formats is growing by the month, and after using them all, Underdog Fantasy is the clear-cut 1.1. Pick anywhere from two to five players, grab a prop, and watch your money double all the way up to 20x. This week, we head to Napa Valley for the 2023 Fortinet Championship to kick off the fall swing of the PGA Tour. Narrow fairways with non-penal rough lead to a high green in regulation percentage and relatively easy scoring conditions. Here are my picks!

2023 Fortinet Championship Round One Underdog Picks
Akshay Bhatia 12.5 Cumulative Par 3 Strokes: Lower
Akshay Bhatia is one of the best iron players in this field. He may easily play these four par threes under par, but four greens in regulation with some two putts will do the trick.
Justin Thomas 4.0 Birdies or Better: Higher
This short par 72 will lend itself to a ton of wedges, which lead to birdies. When Justin Thomas plays the golf course that is in front of him without trying to hit that extremely perfect, fancy shot, he is extremely dangerous. That is what he will do coming off that poor 2022-2023 season. The four par fives should lend themselves to birdies. From there, he will need to find one more with a wedge in his hand.
Cameron Davis Fantasy Points 25.65: Higher
Non-penal rough and a ton of wedges. That is a golf course built for Cam Davis. He truthfully will step up to the tee, believing he can make birdie on 14 of the 18 holes. Cam can put up 30-plus fantasy points in a given round here.
Brendon Todd 70.0 Strokes: Lower
We know what we are getting from B-Todd at this golf course—Middle of the fairway, high iron or wedge in his hand, 20-foot putt for birdie. Todd plays an extremely safe style of golf, which will take bogeys out of the question. With four par fives, 70 should be the highest Brendon Todd shoots tomorrow with a clean scorecard.
