DraftKings Dingers: 3 Home Run Picks for Tuesday, September 5th
Home Run Pick: Jorge Soler (+390)
Miami Marlins slugger Jorge Soler has already hit 35 home runs on the season and is returning to the lineup on Tuesday night after a brief absence.
Since July 31st, Soler has 11 home runs in just 24 games (93 at-bats). That includes two home runs in his last three games and three home runs in his last six games.
The Dodgers are starting future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw tonight, but Soler kills left-handed pitching (14 HR in 103 AB vs. 21 HR in 361 AB vs. RHP).
Getting Soler to hit a home run at nearly 4/1 is something I can’t pass up, especially against a lefty — even if it is Kershaw.
Home Run Prop: Ronald Acuna Jr. (+400)
Speaking of a price I can’t pass up, we are getting Atlanta Braves’ NL MVP candidate Ronald Acuna Jr. at 4/1.
Acuna has 32 home runs on the season and has been mashing the ball recently. The young slugger hit home runs in three straight games over the weekend and had one a few games prior as well.
St. Louis Cardinals starter Miles Mikolas allowed five home runs in five August starts and could be in for a rude awakening down in Atlanta.
Home Run Player Prop: Kyle Schwarber (+380)
Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber secured his second straight 40-home run season with a blast on Monday night.
He has now homered in three of four September games and has an impressive eight home runs in his last 13 games. That’s right, he’s hit a home run in over half of his games in the last two weeks.
Schwarber loves hitting in San Diego, and we could see this bet cash as soon as the first pitch of the game.
