College Football Week 1 Best Bets and Picks
Florida to COVER the 6.5 point spread against Utah
In 2022, Florida won this game outright against Utah, led by Anthony Richardson’s massive game. Richardson may be onto the NFL, but the Gators still have plenty of talent to keep this one close. 6.5 points is just too large of a spread for this game.

USF to COVER the 11.5-point spread against Western Kentucky
In this battle between two terrible defenses, the oddsmakers expect plenty of scoring from both sides. It’s hard to predict if these teams will hit the 70-point total, but USF should be able to put up enough points on Western Kentucky’s weak defense to keep this closer than the 11.5-point spread. Bet on the Bulls here.
Ohio State to go OVER the 44.5-point team total against Indiana University
The Boilermakers are out to put up big numbers this season, and they’ll start doing so in Week 1 against the Hoosiers. Indiana allowed their opponents a lot of yardage both in the air and on the ground last season and should be expected to do the same on Saturday. Ohio State scored over 50 points in the last two meetings, making the 44.5 team total very attainable.
