With the NFL football season just around the corner, fantasy players worldwide are drafting their hearts out in Underdog’s Best Ball Mania IV contest. Fantasy commissioners are starting to plan their draft parties and set their draft dates. Speaking of dates, the folks at Circa Sports recently released the sign-up dates, contest dates, and details for their Circa Million V Contest. Let’s look at the Circa Million V!
The Circa Million V: Win Big with NFL Picks at Circa Sports
The Circa Million V contest sign-up period started on May 25th, 2023, and will run all the way until September 7th, 2023. Also known as NFL Kickoff Day, where the Detroit Lions will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face off against Travis Kelce and the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kicking off on September 7th, the Circa Million V contest runs through January 7th, 2024, the last day of the NFL regular season, meaning this contest runs the duration of the NFL regular season.
Before getting into the details of the contest, it’s crucial to note that all sign-ups MUST be done in Las Vegas in person at the Circa Resort Casino (One time, SGPN Best Ball guru Andrew Raub Facetimed me eating dinner on their rooftop location, it’s an incredible view!), the D Las Vegas, Tuscany Suites & Casino (this is where I stayed when I went to Las Vegas to my first and only time!), Legends Bay Casino or the Pass at Water Street.
Once signed up, picks can be submitted at any of the Circa sportsbooks or the Circa Sports app, but it has to be the Nevada app. Suppose you’re not in Las Vegas/Nevada. In that case, out-of-state residents can utilize a Nevada-based proxy service to submit their weekly picks. But again, you must sign up in Las Vegas, even if you plan on utilizing a proxy service. (Also, the proxy service must be present when registering).
How awesome is it that even if you don’t live in Las Vegas/Nevada or close by, you can still participate in the Circa Million V! Plus, signing up in person is just the sign you needed to schedule that long overdue trip to Fabulous Las Vegas.
Circa Million V Contest Details
– $1,000 to enter, 5 entries per person max
– Make 5 NFL picks against the spread each week
– Get one point for each correct selection and one-half point for each push
– $6 Million Guaranteed in total prizes
– $1 Million first place prize and the coveted blue jacket
– $3.65 Million in cash prizes for places 2 – 100
– $300,000 per “Quarter” in prizes awarded every 4-5 weeks
– $100,000 last place booby prize / $50,000 second to last place booby prize
– No Rake! Any extra fees go into the quarter, and full-season prizes
During the Season:
– Contest point spreads will be posted every Thursday around 10 a.m. PST, with selections due by 4 p.m. PST Saturday. During Thanksgiving week, point spreads will be posted at 10 a.m. PST Wednesday.
Full-season cash prizes will be awarded to the top 100 places plus last place and second-to-last place. Each quarter cash prizes will be awarded to the top five places plus the last place score.

WOW! The first-place winner of the Circa Million V walks away with $1 million. More importantly, they get the coveted blue jacket. Move over the Masters and their green jacket, the Circa, and the blue jacket have entered the building. On top of an overall winner and cash prize for the top 100 in the contest, the Circa Million V will also be awarding “quarterly” prizes (Weeks 1-4, 5-9, 10-13, and 14-18) which will award $150,000 to first place in that quarter, as well as cash prizes for the top five.

Simply put, the Circa Million V is a fantastic contest and truly one of a kind put on by Circa Sports. The one million could be life-changing for anyone. But more importantly, can you imagine just driving around town in your blue jacket? (oh, and probably a new fancy car (or, in my case, a sweet Ford Bronco) because you just won ONE MILLION DOLLARS, but it’ll definitely be the jacket everyone is noticing!) Look for the reigning league MVP Patrick Mahomes to start his 2023-2024 campaign off strong and lead Kansas City to a Week 1 blowout.

2. Arizona Cardinals @ Washington Commanders -6
This one is simple. Arizona stinks. Look for Washington to cover with ease. Washington’s defense will probably cover this by themselves.
PICK: WAS -6
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Minnesota Vikings -6.5
No TB = No TD. Ask yourself, do you really trust Baker Mayfield or Kyle Trask to keep this within a touchdown?
PICK: MIN -6.5
4. Cincinnati Bengals -2.5 @ Cleveland Browns
The Browns just aren’t that good for the spread to be this close against a team who was one win away from making the Super Bowl.
PICK: CIN -2.5
5. Philadelphia Eagles -4.5 @ New England Patriots
Jalen Hurts, and company ruin TB12’s homecoming and cover the spread with ease, reminding Patriots fans that Super Bowl 52 wasn’t a fluke.
