Happy Dinger Tuesday, baseball fans! The day when every home run matters that much more, at least for some of us.
For the uninitiated, Dinger Tuesday is a promotion offered by FanDuel in which a user can get up to $25 in bonus funds ($5 per home run in the game) if their player doesn’t hit a home run. For example, if you bet on a player to hit a home run and he doesn’t. But if the two teams combine for five (or more) home runs in the game, you’ll get the full $25 back in the form of bonus bets.

Dinger Tuesday: Home Run Player Props For Tuesday, June 13th
Dinger Tuesday Strategy & Optimization
In prior years, users could bet as many games as they’d like to rack up free bets. However, in 2023, most users are now limited to a max of $50 in bonus bets on the day. It’s still a worthy promotion, but your bets should be more selective.
Ideally, you’d like to target three or four games expected to be higher-scoring (and/or with a lot of home runs) to maximize the bonus bets. If you hit on one of your bets, you likely profit overall and get some bonus bets. Everything else is gravy. The worst-case scenario is that you go 0-for-4 on your bets. Even then, you get $5 in bonus bets for every home run hit in those games.
Let’s get into the home run player props for Dinger Tuesday on June 20th!
Home Run Picks
TOR @ MIA: Jorge Soler (+360)
Jorge Soler has flown under the radar for some despite slugging 21 home runs in 250 at-bats so far this season. That includes two home runs in his last six games. Four in his last 11, and nine in his last 23. The man is mashing baseballs right now.
Soler is 3-for-6 against Blue Jays starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi in his career. Two of those hits left the yard. The southpaw provides a nice boost for Soler, who has 12 home runs in 193 AB vs. RHP and nine home runs in just 57 AB vs. LHP.
ATL @ PHI: Kyle Schwarber (+300)
It’s June, and Kyle Schwarber has woken up from his slumber. The Phillies slugger is up to 20 home runs in 72 games on the season after hitting a leadoff home run in Oakland on Sunday.
Schwarber has home runs in two of his last three games, three of his last six, four of his last 10, and six of his last 14 games. The odds are a bit short at +300 against someone like Spencer Strider, but if Schwarber doesn’t bang, we should get some bonus bets back.
TEX @ CWS: Luis Robert Jr. (+420)
Luis Robert Jr. has been one of the few bright spots on a dark Chicago White Sox team. He has 18 home runs on the season, including three in the last six games and four in his last eight.
Nathan Eovaldi is a tough matchup this season, but Robert Jr. is 2-for-5 with a double and home run against him in his career.
LAD @ LAA: Shohei Ohtani (+340)
Shohei Ohtani is almost an auto-bet to hit a home run at this point in the season. He’s up to 24 on the year in 72 games, including a home run in his last two contests. On top of that, he’s gone deep in four of his last five, five of his last seven, and seven of his last ten games since June 9th.
Take the +340, even against someone like Clayton Kershaw.
