Kelee Ringo – NFL Rookie Draft Profile
Background
Height – 6’2″
Weight – 207 pounds
Ringo is a top recruit for the Bulldogs, who have the best size-speed combination in this class. The problem is he tends to let receivers get on his toes and force hip movement. In his two seasons with Georgia, he received the following accolades:
2021
Coaches’ Freshman All-SEC Team
2022
Associated Press and Coaches’ All-SEC Second Team
Defensive Back Pros
Size
Ringo is the most-built cornerback in this class. He has the size and length that a lot of teams look for.
Physicality
He knows how to use his size to his advantage, whether boxing out wideouts or getting physical at the line of scrimmage.
Track Speed
Ringo had the top times in Arizona as the 100 and 200-meter dashes.
Defensive Back Cons
Turned Easily
He seems to shift his hips a little early and isn’t able to keep up with receivers entering their breaks.
Ball Skills
At times, he doesn’t turn to look for the ball to play it, which definitely led to some of his penalties.
Penalties
Seven penalties last year are concerning and relate to his other two weaknesses.
