2023 NFL Best Ball Draft 6.0

The guys (@GamblingPodcast) continue their off season NFL podcast series with their latest NFL best ball draft podcast. Plus they hit on a bunch of free agency moves in the NFL.

Best Ball 6.0 comes with just about the same uncertainty in the free agency market as Best Ball 5.0. Regardless, line ups can still get made! In this draft, incoming rookie running back Bijan Robinson went in the first round. This is insane considering you don’t know what role Robinson will be put in and if he will be able to fill out the expectations. Madness is multiplied when you see him getting taken before guys like Saquon Barkley and Austin Ekeler.Second year wide receivers are exciting risks to take as promising rookie years combined with a second year in their offense. George Pickens had a pretty solid year and has shown good rapport with Kenny Pickett.

If Pickens continues to progress as he did in the second half of the year he can push for Pro Bowl consideration. Christian Watson also should have plenty of opportunity to impress with the departure of Allen Lazard. If he can build an early connection with likely QB1 with Jordan Love, he can have a big year. Another young guy who should take a step forward is KJ Osborn. He is not a second-year player, but he is in an emerging role with Adam Thielen gone and Justin Jefferson channeling so much attention. There are still a number of running backs with questionable homes next year.

Ezekiel Elliott has rumors circulating that he will be a Philadelphia Eagle. Kareem Hunt still needs somewhere to call home. Dalvin Cook will most likely have to find a new home after the Vikings re-signed his back up Alexander Mattison and could be looking to focus on him in their backfield.Reports of Lamar Jackson going to the Commanders could be very exciting.

However frequent guest Andrew Raub does not want to see the Commanders get him because he doesn’t want them to give him a fully guaranteed deal. With how run-heavy his game is, his risk of injury is so high it makes it hard to reasonably give him a fully guaranteed deal. Aaron Rodgers seems to be locked in on going to the Jets and brining his list of weapons with him. There might be too many mouths to feed in their offense when it is all said and done.Lineups:Kramer:
