March Madness DFS – Sunday, March 19
Our long weekend is nearly over just as quickly as the madness started. It feels like we just sat down to watch these games. We have the opportunity to give DFS a go before one of the more dreadful Mondays of the year tomorrow. After today’s action, we will have just 16 teams left but an opportunity to find some more standouts. Let’s come up with some lineup options that make us feel like Eric Musselman after the Razorbacks win vs. Kansas. Here is my official March Madness DFS Picks!
Go here for some March Madness tournament picks.
March Madness DFS – Sunday, March 19
Top Tier:
Oscar Tshiebwe, F Kentucky $10,100
Oscar set an NCAAM tournament record against Providence with 25 rebounds. A 50 FPPG performance without a double double. The rebounds have been there for Oscar all season. Kentucky ranks as the number two offensive rebounding team in the entire nation on the back of Oscar.
There’s a matchup with the Kansas State Wildcats that will prove to be another fruitful performance. A bit expensive, but looking to build around a player that has a record-setting performance and four double doubles prior to that feels like the easiest way to fight the Sunday scaries.
Baylor Scheierman, G Creighton $8,400
Baylor struggles mightily defensively inside the arc. Scheierman is built for a shootout, as he is able to hit from deep as well. Double-digit rebounds in three of his last five and coming in around the same price range as Kalkbrenner with a higher chance of the double double premium bonus.

Mid Tier:
Anton Watson, F Gonzaga $7,500
Watson logged an inspiring 37 minutes vs. Grand Canyon in round one. TCU will want to push the pace in a style that will favor Watson’s skill set. He’s taken down double-digit rebounds in his last two games. He is ultra effective from the field and will even sprinkle in some three point attempts from time to time. He comes through with some defensive stats, so he truly can put up a big number. A nice shot at a double double premium in a matchup that may be the game of the day. This is a March Madness DFS pick you won’t regret.
Jalen Bridges, F Baylor $6,800
Doubling down on the Baylor/Creighton game with two players. In what should be a tight one in a near pick ‘em line. Bridges rebounds over/under is set at 5.5, which is a line that he has cleared in four of the last six games he’s been in. Creighton will cater more to their size on the offensive end and try to exploit a bad Baylor defense.
There is a worry about foul trouble but the upside of a potential double double performance. Bridges showed us he was capable of filling it up in Baylor’s Big 12 tournament loss to Iowa State with 28 points. Hoping for a Dylan Disu performance from a guy with a similar skillset and matchup.
Bargain Bin:
Jordan Hawkins, G UConn $6,300
The price reflects what he’s been from the field over his last two games. Hawkins is just 5-22 with four of those field goals from beyond the arc. He went into the Big East Tournament, scoring 20 points. St. Mary’s won’t get into many shootouts. However, Hawkins should outperform this price by doing what he’s been doing and getting a couple more bounces.
Other Options:
Norchad Omier, F Miami $7,900
Antonio Reeves, G Kentucky $6,200
Race Thompson, Indiana $5,600
