Who's Canelo Fighting Next? And Fight Picks! | Big Fight Weekend (Ep.83)

We’re ready for another weekend of the fights in February, but first, we’ll try to get to the bottom of who’s fighting Canelo Alvarez in May and also, will another March prominent title fight just be delayed by injury or is it off all together? We are ready to break it down on “The Big Fight Weekend Podcast”

Host T.J. Rives returns with insight, analysis and up to the minute info with Keith Idec, Sr. Writer/Columnist, for Boxingscene.com. Keith details the latest on Alvarez and whether the future Hall of Famer will meet WBA Light Heavyweight champ, Russian Dimitry Bivol in Vegas in May? Or, will Canelo still potentially fight WBC Middleweight title holder Jermall Charlo?

Keith also has more the currently delayed Jermell Charlo (twin brother)- Brian Castano fight scheduled for March. Will Castano’s arm injury just delay things a little while or will the fight have to be scrapped? T.J. gives his input on whom he’d like to see fight Charlo soon, if Castano cannot.

Then, the guys go over the fight cards this weekend, including the battle in England of former world champs, Amir Khan and Kell Brook. They’ll fight the main event for Boxxer Promotions and SKY Sports in England Saturday afternoon U.S. time. Also, in action Saturday night in his hometown of Tiajuana, Mexico is unbeaten, hard punching WBO Middleweight contender Jaime Munguia fighting aginst D’Mitrius Ballard of the U.S. in the Golden Boy Promotions main event.

T.J. goes over the odds and his picks for the weekend, as well.
