NFL Best Bets Week 16 & Stats Cheat Sheet

NFL Week 16 Gambling Stats Cheat Sheets

Well, we saw two of the biggest upsets in Week 15. The Jets beat the Rams to get their first victory which absolutely ruined my best bets from last week. If that was not enough, the Bengals pulled out the upset over the Steelers on Monday Night Football. Now, we have two weeks left in the regular season, so I want to finish strong with NFL Best Bets Week 16! After going 1-2 in Week 15, my best bet record is 23-18 (56.1%)

There are a few great matchups this weekend. Los Angeles Rams visit the Seattle Seahawks, Titans visit the Packers in the frozen tundra, and the Philadelphia Eagles visit the Dallas Cowboys. Let me get this holiday weekend rolling and dive right into the NFL Best Bets Week 16 and gambling stats cheat sheet!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Detroit Lions

Buccaneers Offense

The Bucs offense is not one that stands out this season. However, Bucs average 28.6 points per game and average 268 passing yards. However, over their last three road games the Bucs are averaging 34 points per game. Furthermore, since Week 12 Brady has an average of 8.5 yards per pass attempt. Lastly, over their last three games the Bucs are averaging 6.7 yards per play.

Lions Defense

Lions defense continues to be one of the worst in the league. In fact, Lions defense ranks #31 in yards per play allowed, #31 in yards per completion allowed, and allow 31.2 points per game. Furthermore, in the last three games the Lions are allowing 35.7 points per game. In addition, interim head coach Bevell will not be coaching the team this weekend due to COVID. Lastly, if Ronald Jones can return from COVID and the finger injury he should have a big as the Lions are allowing 152 rushing yards per game over their last three games.

Double Best Bet: Buccaneers Team Total Over 31.5 & Buccaneers -9.5

Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers

Recent Broncos Defense

The season long stats for the Broncos look respectable. Broncos rank #13 in yards per play allowed, #7 in yards per completion allowed and allow only 230 passing yards per game. However, over their last three games, the Broncos defense is allowing 7.0 yards per play worst in the league, 303 passing yards per game, and are allowing 32 points per game over their last four. Lastly, Broncos are allowing .503 points over the last three weeks which ranks bottom five in the league.

Chargers Offense

Chargers season long offensive stats have not been the greatest. As a result, the Chargers rank #20 in yards per play at 5.4, #19 in yards per completion 10.3 and #29 in yards per rush attempt 3.8. However, if you simply watch Justin Herbert play, he has the potential to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league. In addition, Chargers average 273 passing yards per game, but this is a game where I feel that Chargers offense will be on full display especially having all their best skill position players available.

Best Bet: Chargers -3

Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys

Eagles Offense

Am I buying the Jalen Hurts hype? Yes, yes I am. Despite Hurts starting only two games he has done so against the better defenses in the league. As a matter of fact, Hurts faced the Saints who rank #3 in yards per play allowed, and the Cardinals who rank #8 in yards per play allowed. As a result, in both games Jalen Hurts scored 24 and 26 points, respectively. Furthermore, Hurts has a total of 505 passing yards and 169 rushing yards in his first two games as a starter and five total touchdowns. Lastly, Eagles take on a Dallas defense that is one of the worst in the league.

Cowboys Defense

As to no ones surprise the Cowboys defense continues to be one of the worst in the league. In fact, over the last three games, Cowboys allow 181 rushing yards and allow 5.3 yards per rush attempt. Furthermore, the passing defense numbers over the last three games look improved. However, the Cowboys defense faced Lamar Jackson, Brandon Allen, and Nick Mullens in the last three games. Allen and Mullens are not going to be starting quarterbacks in the league and the stats look better when teams face these types of quarterbacks. Lastly, the rushing attack of the Eagles should have a great game against this defense as stated above and the Eagles will move the ball up and down the field.

Best Bet: Eagles Team Total Over 26
