Sean Green is a bit lower on Patrick Mahomes this week in comparison to the rest of the panel as he is the only one to list Mahomes outside of his top-two. However, it is really not a great matchup for the former MVP as he has to face a Miami defense that is allowing just 1.2 passing touchdowns per game which is tied for the fewest in the league. Plus, Mahomes is entering this game following a pretty underwhelming performance as he only recorded one passing touchdown against the Broncos on Sunday night.

Adam Pelletier stands alone this week as he is the only member of the council to put Aaron Jones as his RB01 for Week 14. However, it definitely makes sense when you realize that he has one of the best matchups for a running back as Detroit is allowing 133.9 rushing yards per game which is the fifth-most in the entire league. Plus, Jones is entering this game in great form after recording 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown last week against Philadelphia so it is pretty safe to assume that he should be able to put up similar numbers this Sunday.

Adam Pelletier is significantly lower on Julio Jones this week in comparison to the rest of the council as he is the only member to not have Jones listed as a top-10 wide receiver this week. While Jones is clearly one of the most talented receivers in the league, his physical gifts have not been translating to tons of fantasy success lately as he has failed to record 100 receiving yards in four of his last five games. Plus, he has been dealing with nagging injuries all season long which has made him less reliable than in previous seasons.

Nick Dant has a very different opinion on Mike Gesicki in comparison to the rest of the panel this week as he is the only person to not place Gesicki within his top-10 tight ends. However, Dant went even further as he does not even have Gesicki listed in his top-15. The main reason for his low ranking is due to Gesicki’s touchdown-dependancy as he has struggled to rack up yards all season long. Gesicki has failed to record more than 43 receiving yards in six of his last seven games. Plus, Kansas City has done a good job in the red zone against tight ends as it has not allowed an opposing tight end to score a touchdown in five of its last six games.
