Nick Dant does not believe in Smokin’ Joe Burrow. He has him presently slotted in as QB23 while no other ranker has him lower than QB11. Burrow has been over 300 yards in five of seven games so far. The Titans defense has been up, down, and all around so far this season and the Bengals’ deep receiving corps might be up to the task. If you believe in the Bengals’ receivers, discredit Dant. If you believe the Titans will feast on the rookie, follow Dant down the line with his week 8 rankings.

Mike Davis has been doing an amazing job filling in for Christian McCaffrey while he has been injured. Heading into a juicy matchup agaisnt the Falcons this weekend, CMC looks like he may be on track to return. If CMC returns then Davis will not be the top-10 back most of the rankers think he will be. The Talentless Mr. Roto thinks Davis will take a step back and have more of a time-share role with the return of CMC. All of this is speculative so pump up or fade Davis depending upon what we hear about CMC. Follow the local Charlotte reporters for some good observations and information in addition to our week 8 rankings.

Kenny Golladay is a divisive force among in our week 8 rankings, being as high as WR06 and as low as WR19. Golladay is coming off of back-to-back 100-yard weeks and it remains to be seen if he will bounce back against a stingy Colts defense. The Indy D has not been as dominant as it had been in the early season, but coming off a bye they may be able to contain him. Golladay has a wide range of outcomes and it is important to keep that in mind as you set lineups this week

Gronk is a divisive figure off the field and on it. The Talentless Mr. Roto has him ranked outside his top-16 tight ends this week, while almost everyone else has him as a top-7 option. Only Nick Dant has him outside the top-seven. Rob Gronkowski has been up and down so far this season, but with Chris Godwin out this week it might be a big opportunity for Gronk. The Week 8 Rankings may be the last positive matchup and circumstance for Gronk in 2020.
