Are you excited for some sports in 2020? If you’re a major College Football fan, you probably have your own favorites and know which team has a chance to move the furthest, but let’s take a look at the 5 teams that can actually go all the way to the Playoffs according to their current standings and rosters.

Clemson Tigers

Clemson Tigers are definite favorites for the 2020 season title. Last year’s national runners-up are excited to show what they got this year and betting against them would be ridiculous. Coach Dabo Swinney is expected to run into some serious competition, more dangerous than in the past, but none of them is ready to compete with the Tigers.

Trevor Lawrence returns to the field for his junior season, but Travis Etienne, the two-time ACC Player of the Year, is also returning for his senior season. The second and third levels of defense are still questionable, but the guys will be ready to play thanks to coordinator Venables. They had time to practice so they are more than ready for this season.

Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama football has changed significantly over the years, mostly thanks to Nick Saban’s ability to adapt his team to the talent in the roster and the new styles of gameplay. Since Tagovailoa went away, the 2020 Tide may have looked a little shaken, but they proved everyone wrong. They are still one of the best candidates for the last four standing. With Najee Harris, Brian Robinson Jr. and Trey Sanders, we’re expected to see some strong games from Alabama.

The mix of dynamic play and the versatile recruiting class filled with playmakers, athletic linebackers and pass-rushers give Alabama a huge advantage. Last season, not many people considered Tide for the title, but this year, they are definitely a force not to be reckoned with.

Florida Gators

Florida Gators fans can rejoice this season. The team is going strong under Dan Mullen and they seem to be more than ready to win more. Of course, losing Jefferson, Swain and Cleveland can’t be easy, but Mullen managed to come through with some great talent like Xzavier Henderson and Jaquavion Fraziars.

There are many reasons to like the Gators this season and if you’re betting, be sure not to underestimate them. Check out some online betting websites and don’t forget to place your bet. Pro tip: choose the best site through reviews. For instance, you can read more about Cracker bingo and gain insight into their dealings. Do the same for your betting websites and hope that the Gators are strong enough to beat the competition in 2020.

Georgia Bulldogs

Thanks to coach Kirby Smart, Georgia is on the verge of greatness this year. Smart replaced Jake Fromm with Wake Forest player Jamie Newman. Getting Newman and Monken is a great upgrade that might push Bulldogs very far, even to the top four. If the duo Newman/Monken grows and learns how to play together well, Georgia might be looking at its first championship title in 40 years.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Many think that Notre Dame is not really an elite team and Playoff material, but that’s just not true. Brian Kelly’s team is strong this year and with two wins under their belt already, they will prove to everyone that they can compete for the national title.

Last season, Notre Dame had to fix some issues and fill some holes, which cost them a lot, but the Fighting Irish took a step forward in 2020 and created one of the best defenses in the nation. Led by Kyle Hamilton, Alohi Gilman, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, and linebacker Drew White, Notre Dame defense could stop everyone on their way and ensure the Fighting Irish get back to the College Football Playoff.

No matter if you’re an attentive spectator or an avid sport better, make sure to take these teams into consideration. Pay attention to their game and see whether expert predictions are true and these 5 big teams manage to reach the Playoff.
