First, T.J. welcomes in Brian Edwards, senior handicapper of BrianEdwardssports.com and Vegas insider, back of the show. Brian was a perfect 3 for 3 on his underdogs that he handed out last week, including Mississippi State’s stunning upset, as a 16-point underdog at defending national champion, LSU. Brian not only pegged the Bulldogs SEC opening, win but also had two other NFL doggies with Cincinnati covering in their tie at Philadelphia. And, he hit with the Packers Sunday night out-right win in the Superdome against the Saints.
Brian looks to follow up with a Conference USA Underdog in college football and loves and AFC East doggy as well, this week.
Next, T.J. talks his Tampa Bay Lightning with “Lightning Insider” Erik Erlendsson off of the Bolts Stanley Cup Championship clinching series win earlier this week. It’s the second ever hockey championship for the Lightning, and Erik provides great insight on how they defeated the Dallas Stars. Plus, they overcame all of the hurdles with life in “the hockey bubble” to win the Cup.
Then, T.J. welcomes Charles Davis from the NFL coverage on CBS. Charles and Ian Eagle will be working the L.A. Chargers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game Sunday in the Sunshine State. Charles gives insight on why the Buccaneers have turned things around the last couple of weeks? And, also, what kind of shot does L.A. have, as a seven-point Underdog this week?
Up next, Colby Dant of “The College Experience” podcast on “The Sports Gambling Podcast” network of shows and DeShaun Tate of “Tate’s Tate” the basketball podcast join T.J. on the YouTube video Round Table. Colby has some excellent college football takes and underdogs for this week, including a surprising SEC Road hound.
DeShaun, meanwhile, handicaps the Miami Heat chances in the seven-game series with the L.A. Lakers for the NBA Finals that have gotten underway.
Finally T.J. and Brian Edwards cap off the show with T.J. making an underdog NFL pick and analyzing some more of the NFL matchups for the weekend.
