Lakers vs Rockets Game 4 Preview: Podcast Recap

Ryan McKee (@TheRyanMcKee) and Zach Broner (@NBAZachB) start the podcast by recapping Game 3 of the Los Angeles Lakers versus Houston Rockets series. The Lakers won by 10 points, but it was a much closer game than the final score indicates. James Harden needs to fully take over in the fourth quarter if his team is going to win the Lakers vs Rockets Game 4. Russell Westbrook has the ball in his hands too much at the end of games and he’s been bad. Despite the defeat, Ryan and Zach both agree in their Lakers vs Rockets Game 4 preview that Houston has a chance to win. It’s going to be a close game, so you’ll want to take the 5-point spread if you’re betting on the Rockets. Although, Zach is feeling dangerous and will sprinkle a little cash on the Houston moneyline too at +180.

After finishing the Lakers vs Rockets Game 4 preview and making their picks, the guys recap the final Milwaukee Bucks vs Miami Heat game. Ryan crows about betting the Heat at +345 to win the series beforehand. He also has 5 units on Miami to win the Eastern Conference at +1000 and asks for Zach’s advice on whether he should hedge. Zach’s advice is to only hedge if Boston ends up being the Heat’s opponent.

Ryan and Zach end the podcast by discussing Erik Spoelstra’s decision to play Tyler Herro more than Duncan Robinson in crunch time. Herro is looking more like a star veteran than a 20-year-old rookie each game. Being a Michigan alum, Zach is a huge fan of Robinson’s. He’s pulling for the 26-year-old 3-pt specialist to shine brighter, but admits Herro looks better right now. Finally, the guys answer the most pressing question of all: Whose 3-pt stroke would you rather have: Tyler Herro or Duncan Robinson’s?
