Patrick Mahomes Cashes In
On the latest edition of the only digital radio show devoted exclusively to Underdogs (with games resuming), host T.J. Rives is back with his guests to cover some current events and news making topics in sports.
First, Brian Edwards, top Handicapper from Majorwager.com and Vegas Insider, kicks off the show with conversation about the massive 10 year mega-contract that Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes signed this week. Brian and T.J. discuss the impact for KC and how big of a mistake that it looks like teams like the Bears in specific screwed up by not drafting him in 2017. Brian also has thoughts on the NBA resumption, including the Pacers to be without one of their stars for the duration in Orlando. Finally, Brian gives his opinions on UFC 251 pay per view on their “Fight Island” in the Middle East for Saturday night. That includes a couple of doggie plays, as well.

Also, joining the conversation is Danielle McCartan from New Jersey/NYC area, who is a fill in host for THE WFAN sports radio in New York and also works game days for the New York Giants. Finally, Will Haskett broadcaster of Sirius XM/PGA Tour Radio, who just worked last weekend’s Tour stop in Detroit where Bryson DeChambeau destroyed the course with his drives, is on from Indianapolis, as well.
The panel discusses more on the Mahomes deal and the implications for paying other QBs like DeShaun Watson and Dak Prescott. They also cover the resumption of MLB with Danielle giving insight from New York on the Yankees/Mets. Will weighs in on his beloved Chicago Cubs. And finally, there is some talk about DeChambeau and the whispers about his increased weight/strength/length and the possibilities that it might be chemically enhanced. Will also has thoughts on the Ryder Cup being postponed until 2021 due to no fans being able to attend for now for golf.
