The Rams and Bears played last season in prime time and the Bears defense dominated the high powered Rams. LA only had 214 yards of total offense and Jared Goff threw four interceptions in the 15-6 loss. This season, both teams are on the outside looking in at the NFC playoff race and neither can afford another loss. Both offenses are struggling to consistently move the ball and all signs point to a defense battle Sunday in LA.
Here are my top prop bets for Sunday Night Football.
Jared Goff Over 260.5 Passing Yards ( -113)
Goff had a brutal game against the Steelers only completing 22 out of 41 passes for 243 yards and throwing two interceptions. The Rams have a ton of injuries on the offensive line and wide receiver Brandin Cooks is still out with a concussion. The Bears have a great defense and they will shut down Todd Gurley and the rushing attack thus putting the game on Goff’s shoulders. The Rams will need him to throw the ball a ton out of necessity. Goff has gone over 260 yards passing six times this season and is seventh in the league in total passing yards.
Cooper Kupp Under 76.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Cooper Kupp leads the team with 91 targets and 58 receptions on the season. The Steelers completely took Kupp out of the game last week, and look for the Bears to try and do the same. Kupp was only targeted four times and did not catch a pass. With Brandin Cooks out of the lineup, the Rams don’t have a deep threat which makes their offense much easier to defend. Kupp won’t be shutout on Sunday, but I also don’t feel he will have a big game against a strong Bears defense.

Taylor Gabriel Over 3 Receptions (-125 )
Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago passing game is ranked 29th in the league and has been dreadful for much of the season. The Bears leading receiver is Allen Robinson and he is a good player, but unfortunately he has a tough matchup this week with Jalen Ramsey across from him. With Ramsey on Robinson, this should free up Gabriel to have a few more opportunities. Gabriel has had at least three receptions in four out of the last five games.
Josh Reynolds Over 3 Receptions (-103)
With the absence of Brandin Cooks, Reynolds has stepped up and is becoming a bigger part of the offense. Over the past two games, he has seen 13 targets and has six catches. The Chicago defense will pay close attention to Copper Kupp and Robert Woods which should leave Reynolds with a favorable matchup. Until Cooks returns from injury, Reynolds will continue to see an increase in playing time and potential targets.
