Leicester 3-1 Arsenal
Manchester United 2-0 Brighton

Summary

Unai Emery joins the sack race, and could go as early as the start of next week, if Arsenal are beaten badly at Leicester. Chelsea, Spurs and United should all win on their patches. Still, there is so such thing as banker this season, unless you’re talking about City and Liverpool, who are both clear at the top. The top 2 square off at Anfield on Sunday, with Liverpool knowing a win could win them the title, as they look to go 9 points clear.

Game of the Week: Liverpool vs. Manchester City

This weekend’s game of the week focuses on the Sunday afternoon clash between the title challengers, as Manchester City visit Anfield.

The Reds have dropped just two points in the top flight all season, but they have looked far from invincible at times, having ridden their luck against Aston Villa, Spurs, Leicester and Southampton and were somewhat fortunate to come away from Old Trafford with a point. That being said, ten wins from eleven matches can’t be disparaged, and they look to have a crazy winning mentality right now.
It’s safe to say that it’s tough to separate these two sides on paper, and I am expecting a closely fought match, as the P&L indicates.

Prediction-

Manchester City have not failed to score away from home in the league for 11 months, and have conceded in over half their competitive games this season, while all seven of Liverpool’s home games and six of Manchester City’s eight away games have seen three or more goals being scored. Backing Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score looks a solid pick for the weekend, with Liverpool edging it out with on their patch, which has become a fortress over the last two years.
