With Week 10 already underway, here are my favorite plays to fill up your College Football Daily Fantasy Picks.
QUARTERBACK: Dillon Gabriel
$9,400 FanDuel; $7,500 DraftKings
UCF @ HOUSTON: Saturday November 2: 12 PM EST (UCF -22; 71)
UCF’s Dillon Gabriel is off to a fantastic start this season. He has already eclipsed the 2,200 yard mark and boasts a 20:5 touchdown to interception ratio. He has been particularly stellar at home completing 68.1 percent of his passes and averaging 11.9 yards a completion. At Spectrum Stadium he has thrown for 12 touchdowns and is yet to through an interception,
Houston rank 119th in the nation in opponent passing yards per game surrendering an average of 293.4 on a 62.5 percent completion percentage. With the game projected to be high scoring, and UCF placing an emphasis on their passing game, Gabriel is a must include on your rosters this week.
WIDE RECEIVER: Sage Surratt
$9,900 FanDuel; $8,000 DraftKings
NC State @ Wake Forest: Saturday November 2nd: 12 PM EST (Wake Forest -7.5; 60.5)
Although he is an expensive option this week, Sage Surratt is someone worthy of spending the extra cash on this week. He has hauled in 53 receptions for 881 total yards and nine touchdowns on the season thus far. Surratt is averaging 16.6 yards a reception and has logged five games with a long reception of 45 or more yards. He is a popular target for for both Jamie Newman (who is questionable), and Sam Hartman who has been efficient in both his starts taking over at quarterback.
FLEX/RUNNING BACK: D’Andre Swift
$8,900 FanDuel ;$7,400 DraftKings
Georgia @ Florida: Saturday November 2nd: 3:30 PM EST (Georgia -6;45)
Georgia’s D’Andre Swift is having a good year with 110 rushing attempts and 752 total yards. He has been much more involved in the offense in the most recent four games recording no less than 17 rushing attempts a game.
Swift offers upside in the receiving game as well as he has 13 receptions on the year for 148 yards. Most of those yards came from two games however where he logged 64, and 72 yards through the air. In a difficult game on the road, look for the Bulldogs to lean on their running game especially early on.
RUNNING BACK: Xavier Jones
$9,700 FanDuel; $7,700 DraftKings
SMU @ MEMPHIS: Saturday November 2nd: 7:30 PM EST (Memphis -6; 71.5)
Memphis are coming off a game where they surrendered 275 rushing yards to Tulane last week. Defensively they are giving up an average of 191.7 a game. Saturday they take on a SMU team who love to run the ball and average the 12th most rushing attempts per game with 46.8 and average over 202 yards a game.
Look for SMU’s Xavier Jones to build off his success and make it five straight games with 100 or more rushing yards. He has found the end zone six times throughout the most recent four games and has already logged two rushes this year of 50 or more yards.
