Here are my favorite options to target and fill up your daily fantasy rosters across college football for Week 7.
QUARTERBACK: Jamie Newman
$10,300 FanDuel; $7,800 DraftKings
Louisville @ Wake Forest: Saturday October 12: 7:30 PM EST (Wake Forest -6.5; 65.5)
Jamie Newman is an expensive price play, however he should be able to carve up a struggling Louisville defense. Louisville defensively have allowed an average of 310.3 passing yards over their most recent three games.
Wake Forest quarterback Jamie Newman struggled for what we have seen out of him, but he still managed to surpass the 240 yard mark going 21 of 33 with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. On the season he has surpassed the 1500 yard mark and boasts a 14:3 TD to INT ratio. Look for his success to continue today.
WIDE RECEIVER: Devin Duvernay
$9,600 FanDuel; $7,400 DraftKings
Oklahoma @ Texas: Saturday October 12: 12 PM EST (Oklahoma -10.5; 75.5)
With Texas averaging 308 passing yards a game good for 17th in the nation, expect a heavy dose of yards through the air. They meet a good match in Oklahoma who can put up points in a hurry averaging 49.2 a game.
For Texas, wide receiver Devin Duvernay is putting up big numbers and has surpassed the 100 yard mark in two games this season. Both of his bigger games saw him haul in 12 receptions. In what projects to be a very high scoring game, look for Duvernay to be a popular target on Saturday.
FLEX/RUNNING BACK: Michael Warren III
$9,200 FanDuel
Cincinnati @ Houston: Saturday October 12: 3:30 PM EST (Cincinnati -7.5; 51.5)
Michael Warren III is coming off a great performance versus UCF where he put up 133 yards on 23 carries. He is averaging 4.7 yards a carry on the season and should find success versus a Houston defense allowing an average of 206 rushing yards a game. Although opponents are only averaging 34 rushes a game versus Houston, the Houston defense ranks 125th in the nation in yards per rush at 6.1.
The Bearcats love to run the ball averaging 44.6 attempts a game, so big numbers out of Warren III are expected.

RUNNING BACK: Rodney Smith
$5,800 DraftKings
Nebraska @ Minnesota: Saturday October 12: 7:30 PM EST (Minnesota -7.5; 49)
Rodney Smith is coming off a game where he averaged 8.8 yards a carry and put up 211 total rushing yards on 24 attempts. Four times this year has he logged 20 or more touches in a game and this is his second straight game putting up big numbers.
Look for Smith’s success to continue versus a Nebraska defense ranked 71st in the nation in rushing yards allowed per game with 165.8. Over their most recent three games they have allowed 249.7, 15th highest in the nation.
