Monday Night Football Prop Bets: Chicago Bears vs Washington Redskins

Happy Danny Dimes week yall. With week 3 coming to an end hopefully, you have been on the right side of some of the early season “Any Given Sunday” madness. Monday Night Football this week has turned into a must-win spot for the Bears who are holding down the basement in the NFC North by themselves. Meanwhile, Dan Synder who certainly is considering a change to Danny MUST be applying internal pressure to start his 1st round QB Haskins after the success of Mr. Jones down in Tampa. Can Mitchell show up and remind people why the Bears selected him over Patrick Mahomes and DeShaun Watson? Will the Redskins be able to string two good halves together or will be we saying goodbye to Gruden in the coming weeks?

For now, let’s dive into the matchup and identify inefficiencies in the prop market to get you paid on Monday Night Football. For more in-depth analysis listen to the Week 3 Picks Podcast below.

Monday Night Football Prop Bets

1. David Montgomery Over 61.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

After seeing fewer snaps than both Cohen & Davis week 1 Montgomery out-snapped both of them week 2 on his way to an 18 for 62 stat line. Combine that with the fact that this Redskins defense is currently sporting the #29 rush defense DVOA and it seems like a nice buy-low opportunity for the rookie who could see his break out spot here.

2. Vernon Davis Over 3 Receptions (-110) & 3. Over 33.5 Yards (+130)

Jordan Reed is still out and probably should retire, as 7 reported concussions probably means he has had 15-20. I’m no doctor but that seems like a big number. Keenum has gone to Davis recording 4 & 3 catches respectively in their first two games. The Bears have been given up 15 catches on 19 targets for 133 yards in 2 games. Ride this old horse to the window for a nice double-dip.

4. Allen Robinson Over 4.5 Receptions (-130) & Over 62.5 Yards (+105)

Could you imagine being Allen Robinson? Matt McGloin, Christian Hackenberg, Chad Henne, Blake Bortles, Mitchell Trubisky. Yet he continues to flash and make you wonder what if. He walks into a dream matchup on Monday Night Football against a secondary is currently #29 defending #1 WRs and has shown the ability to get beat down the field. I certainly expect him to be involved in the scripted portion of the game to the tune of ~5 targets. Enjoy the quick 3-4 catches for 50 yards on his way to cashing this prop by halftime.

Good luck and Let it Ride!!!
