College Football DFS Picks for Week 4: Best DraftKings, FanDuel Plays (Saturday, September 21)

College Football DFS Picks for Week 4: Best DraftKings, FanDuel Plays (Saturday, September 21)

Here are my favorite DFS plays for Week 4 of the college football regular season.

RUNNING BACK: Clyde Edwards-Helaire

$6,100 DraftKings; $8,700 FanDuel

LSU @ Vanderbilt: Saturday September 21st: 12 PM EST (LSU -24; 62.5)

Last season the Vandy defense ranked 95th in the nation giving up 202.2 rushing yards a game on a very high 5.1 yards per attempt. This season stopping the run has proven costly again for the Commodores defense who are again giving up one of the highest yards per rush attempt at 6.3 ranking them 124th in the nation.

With LSU 24-point favorites for this contest, they should be able to run up the score quickly. Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is off to a good season thus far averaging 4.9 yards an attempt and accumulating 182 yards on 37 attempts with four touchdowns. Although he is yet to break the 100 yard rushing mark in a game this season, he looks primed for a big night.

WIDE RECEIVER: Tylan Wallace

 $8,600 DraftKings; $9,700 FanDuel

Oregon @ Stanford: Saturday September 21st 7 PM EST (Oregon -10.5; 57.5)

The Longhorns have been burned defensively this year giving up an average of 330 passing yards per game. Opposing quarterbacks are completing an average of 67.2 percent of their passes.

Cowboys receiver Tylan Wallace is off to a fantastic start this season scoring six touchdowns and racking up 390 yards on 15 receptions. Although he is only averaging five receptions a game, he has recorded catches of 75 or more yards in back-to-back games. In what projects to be a high scoring game with a lot of points scored and passing offense, expect Wallace to be a factor.

Flex: QUARTERBACK: Justin Herbert

$8,300 DraftKings; $9,700 FanDuel

Oregon @ Stanford: Saturday September 21st 7 PM EST (Oregon -10.5; 57.5)

The Cardinal defensively are allowing opposing quarterbacks to complete 68.8 percent of their passes. They are surrendering an average of 13.6 yards per completion ranking their defense 104th in that category. With high numbers in both statistical categories, it is no surprise opponents are averaging 280.3 passing yards per game.

Oregon currently ranks 13th in the nation in passing yards per game averaging 322 a contest. Ducks quarterback Justin Herbert is off to the best start of his career completing 73.3 percent of his passes and throwing for 868 yards and 11 touchdowns already with 0 interceptions. Look for his success to continue Saturday night.

QUARTERBACK: Sam Ehlinger

 $8,500 DraftKings; $10,600 FanDuel

Oklahoma State @ Texas: Saturday September 21st: 7:30 PM EST (Texas -6.5; 72.5)

Last season the Oklahoma State defense ranked 125th in the nation in passing yards surrendered per game and struggled down the stretch giving up 305.7 in the final three games of the season. This season the Cowboys are surrendering an average of 259.5 passing yards a game and their defensive woes continue.

The Longhorns are putting up points this year and a lot of that is through their passing offense. Texas are averaging 41.7 pass attempts per game and rank 9th in passing yards per game averaging 349.3. In a high scoring shootout, expect Ehlinger to excel and put up big numbers
