Monday Night Prop Bets: Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders

Is there anything better than the opening weekend late MNF matchup between two NFC/AFC West teams? With the sheer number of dumpster fires that were started over the weekend, you have to imagine we might see another on in this classic AFC West showdown.  Is the move to Denver the cure to Flacco’s career? Will Gruden show that he has any clue what he is doing?

For now, let’s dive into the matchup and identify inefficiencies in the prop market to get you paid on Monday Night Football. For more in-depth analysis listen to the Week 1 Picks Podcast below.

Monday Night Football Prop Bets

1. Emmanual Sanders Over 4.5 Receptions (+130)

If you believe Sanders is healthy this is a must-play. As reported by ESPN, the Broncos feel like he is a go and their guy. He went over this total in 8/12 games played last year and I expect him to do so early in this matchup.

2. Josh Jacobs Over 2.5 Receptions (+100)

Sure Richard has been their passing back in the past but Gruden/Mayock and the Raiders believe they have a true 3 down back in Josh Jacobs. While there is question about Jacob’s and his ability to handle the full bell-cow back workload I don’t think there is any question that Carr likes his check-downs.

3. Noah Fant Under 22.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

He isn’t even the starter for the Broncos and he might not even be the backup. I need to see him have a roll in the offense before I do anything but fade him.

4. Derek Carr Over .5 INT (-140) & 5. Under 1.5 TD Passes (-150)

No AB no problem right! Carr got picked 3 times in the 2 games the Broncos and Raiders played last year. I don’t expect the pass catchers on the Raiders to get a lot of separation and I think Carr will be under pressure. A perfect recipe for 1 TD 2 INT line.

Good luck and Let it Ride!!!
