QUARTERBACK: Jordan Love

Last season the Utah State Aggies ranked 4th in total points scored with 618, and 15th in the nation in total offense accumulating 6,482 yards. Most of their offensive success could be attributed to star quarterback Jordan Love who put up a 32:6 touchdown-interception ratio, completed 64 percent of his passes and logged a 158.3 rating.
Although there are a lot of changes to the offensive line and new weapons for Love, he should find a lot of success breaking down a Wake Forest defense who look to be in for another difficult defensive season. The 2018-2019 Wake Forest Demon Deacons were ranked 105th in college football in points allowed surrendering 433. Opponents logged 308 completions on 490 attempts ranking them 128th in the country, and 120th in passing defense surrendering 3,449 total yards.
SLEEPER/FLEX: QUARTERBACK Elijah Sindelar

Although he missed most of the 2018-2019 season due to injury, Boilermarkers quarterback Elijah Sindelar is a starter with plenty of experience. Prior to his leg injury, 2017 was his best season where he split the quarterbacking duties with David Blough. Sindelar appeared in 12 of 13 games and threw for 2,099 yards 18 touchdowns and completed nearly 57 percent of his passes.
The Boilermarkers are a team that like to orchestrate a strong passing game and ranked 13th last season in total passing yards per game averaging 307.5. They are up against a Nevada defense that surrendered over 293.6 passing yards a game at home and allowed the second highest completion total per game in all of college football at home with 25.2. Opponents took advantage of their porous defense completing over 62 percent of their passes when the Nevada Wolf Pack hosted.
WIDE RECEIVER: Damonte Coxie

Mississippi @ Memphis: Saturday August 31st: 12 PM EST
Memphis should find success through the air versus a Mississippi team who surrendered an average of 250.2 passing yards per game and ranked 75th in college football allowing 31.5 completions per game last season overall and 33.2 on the road.
The Tigers’ Damonte Coxie had a big impact last season with 72 receptions for 1,174 yards and seven touchdowns. He logged five games with 110 or more yards and is always a deep threat. His impressive stats were helped by hauling in receptions of 35 or more yards in seven total games last season. Look for him to be a popular target in Saturday’s matchup.
RUNNING BACK: AJ Dillon

In the 2018-2019 season Virgina Tech ranked 112th in total rushing defense and allowed a very high average of 225 yards per game on the ground.
Boston College running back AJ Dillion finished 17th in the nation in rushing attempts per game with 227 and 27th in total yards with 1,108. Dillon had 20 or more rushing attempts in six games last season, and surpassed the 100 yard mark five times.
When these two teams met up last season, Boston College recorded more than 210 yards through the running game with 94 of those by Dillon. Expect much of the same in the rematch between these two squads.
