Copa America Preview | EPL Show (Ep. 106)

Podcast Recap

While most soccer stars have the hit the beaches, the international superstars of South American football remain in action, as the likes of Messi, Aguero, Suarez, Cavani, Coutinho, James Rodriguez, and others, all take to the field for the Copa America. Billi breaks down this year’s tournament, which will be hosted by Brazil, who are the tournament favorites. A nation of 200 million will expect the Brazilians to win the trophy on home soil, despite the fact that Neymar will be missing through injury.
Can the 5/4 favorites justify their favoritism and claim the Copa without their star-man? Will Messi finally deliver a trophy on the international stage? Or maybe Uruguay- who have only lost once in 28 months- can upset the odds, as Chile did in 2016, and leave Brazil with the coveted Copa Trophy for the 16th time?
