NFL Week 15 Fantasy Football Quarterback Ranks

NFL Week 15 Fantasy football Quarterback Ranks

If you made it this far in your league, you can feel the prize at your reach. For most of you, a win this week will put you in the Superbowl of your league. Every point is pivotal, here are my ranks for week 15.
Good luck!

1) Patrick Mahomes

Get used to seeing him at the top of Rankings for years to come week in week out. In what seemingly was his toughest matchup of the season, we still finished 6th last week vs the stout Ravens D. This week he faces a Chargers defense that allows the 4th least points to quarterbacks, but if you look at the QB’s they faced, Roethlisberger is the only respectable opponent they’ve encountered since week 10.

2) Ben Roethlisberger

I have Ben a little higher than most do, and the injury rumblings heard this week will keep people skeptical. But I see this being a shootout and he’ll have to pass to keep pace with Tom Brady. Patriots D is a top 10 target for opposing QB’s, coming off a week they allowed Ryan Tannehill to score 23.9 fantasy points while averaging over 13 yards per attempt.

3) Jared Goff

Carrying the team with the highest implied Team total this week (31.5), look for the Rams to destroy the Eagles depleted secondary. Eliminating the Mark Sanchez game, the Eagles have allowed 8 passing touchdowns in 3 weeks. The big spread is scary, but expect big plays with Philadelphia allowing 51 passes of 20+ yards the season, tied for 3rd most in the NFL.

4) Drew Brees

Primetime game check T-2nd highest implied Team Toal check. A back and forth affair will treat Brees owners just right, I expect the Saints to score in the thirties putting the veteran in a position to shine in week 15. Last weeks performance will keep people hesitant, don’t get cute.

5) Cam Newton

As stated above, I expect points out of this contest setting up Cam to devour the 3rd worse defense to the position. Not only in the air but expect the Panthers to use their Quarterbacks legs where the Saints have allowed 253 rush yards and are tied for the most touchdowns to QB’s (4).

6) Tom Brady

In his career vs Tomlin led Pitt teams.
Over 70% Completion percentage
23-1 TD-INT ratio
Big game. Say no more.

7) Kirk Cousins

I know this smells of trash but I think this is the week we forget about Cousins and he comes out and finishes top 8. Miami started the year defending the pass decent only allowing 2 passing scores in the first 3 weeks of the season, maybe that’s why they’re only 13th worse vs the QB position and the numbers are skewed. Truth is, they have allowed 15 passing touchdowns in 6 games and multiple in 5 of the 6.

7) Matt Ryan

The matchup drops him some this week with the Cardinals only conceding 14.6 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, 3rd best in the NFL. Motivation will be a factor here and how bad the Falcons still want to open things up, the Cardinals defensive line is one of the best at generating pressure, so look for him to use the short quick pass game.

8) Russell Wilson

The matchup is perfect with the 49ers allowing the 8th most points vs the position surrendering 7 passing scores in 3 weeks. The weather is what holds his ceiling down this week where forecast show over 50% chances of rain with 15-17 MPH winds. Seattle leans on the run-heavy as it is, look for that to continue as they’ll look to just close the game late keeping his numbers down.

9) Andrew Luck

Another player with a tough opponent this week, the Colts welcome the stingy Dallas defense in a crucial week 15 clash. The bright side is the Colts offensive line has been one of the better units in the NFL and I expect that to help Luck’s receivers to get open. Byron Jones is a big corner and has been shutting receivers down, but I think a smaller more speedy and elusive T.Y Hilton could give him problems.

10) Philip Rivers

Weather worries caused this total to drop some, but I still expect the game script to fall the direction that leads the Chargers to play from behind. Injuries to the backfield will limit the way they can hurt the Chiefs, and I expect Rivers to have more pass attempts than usual. The Chargers play caller passed for multiple scores every game this season until last week. Look for the streak to start over. winds expected to be in the 13-14 MPH range.

11) Mitchell Trubisky

I love Money Mitch to fly under the radar this week. Last game saw him struggle with accuracy in his first game back from injury, week 15 sets up for him to get back on track. Green Bay has allowed 3 passing scores in 2 of the last 3 games. This seems like a week where Trubisky ends up in the Millionaire maker lineup.

12) Lamar Jackson

Rounding out the list of QB 1’s, his ability to get points on rushes always puts him in conversation. I would have him way higher facing the 4th best target for opposing quarterbacks in the Bucs defense. The only problem here, the weather is supposed to be horrendous with over 70% chance of thunderstorms with 9 MPH winds. The way you hurt Tampa is throwing the ball and I’m not sure how much of that will be in the game plan under these conditions.

Honorable mentions for the struggle

13) Deshaun Watson
14) Josh Allen
15) Jameis Winston
16) Aaron Rodgers
17) Dak Prescott
18) Derek Carr
19) Baker Mayfield
20) Marcus Mariota
