This is a win/loss format column with the goal of 250 yards passing + rushing and two touchdowns. Every time a quarterback selected finishes the NFL fantasy week in the top twelve or accumulates 250 yards passing/rushing and two touchdowns, it will be graded as a win. Anything short of that, you guessed it-a loss.
Using ESPN standard scoring / PPR leagues, the quarterback of the week must be 30% or less owned.
Week Seven Game Of Throws Selection
Andy Dalton, QB, Cincinnati Bengals, $5800
Back to the well we go. Andy Dalton has come in for us both times we have streamed him and the third time’s the charm. Dalton is awful in primetime as we know, but thankfully we get him in an under the radar 10am Vegas time kick where not many eyes will be on him. He’s without AJ Green, yes, but Tyler Boyd has shown more than capable of running the route tree Green occupies usually. New Orleans is the real kicker here as they come in with their dead last pass defense. As we look at Dalton’s recent games:
The Saints defense most compares to Pittsburgh where Dalton fell just short of what would qualify for a win, but in truth The Saints defense may be worse. No, I don’t think the The Bengals win, which even plays into our narrative as the garbage time all counts the same.
