The Rules:
This is a win/loss format column with the goal of 250 yards passing + rushing and two touchdowns. Every time a quarterback selected finishes the NFL fantasy week in the top twelve or accumulates 250 yards passing/rushing and two touchdowns, it will be graded as a win. Anything short of that, you guessed it-a loss.
Using ESPN standard scoring / PPR leagues, the quarterback of the week must be 30% or less owned.
Week Seven Game Of Throws Selection
Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens, $5,300
Coming off yet another win getting into the top twelve streaming quarterbacks last week with Andy Dalton, we return to find a diamond in the rough. Look, Joe Flacco isn’t going to put the warm and fuzzies in your stomach when selecting him in DFS or on your season long waiver wire, but Pittsburgh is a different team on the road and at home, and Baltimore is a desperate team right now. The good news, is it’s something of a win-win this week as you get home Joe Flacco going up against the road version of The Pittsburgh Steelers. Flacco comes in averaging just under 19 fantasy points per week at home:
On top of that, Road Flacco actually had a very good game that would qualify him for a win last time out against Pittsburgh:
A better version of Flacco, against a worse version of The Steelers defense? Sign me up. Flacco has passed for at least 250 yards in six out of eight games this season and thrown for at least two touchdowns in 50% of his games this year.
