Game Of Throws: The Best Streaming QB Option For Week Seven

Game Of Throws: The Best Streaming QB Option For Week Seven

The Rules:

This is a win/loss format column with the goal of 250 yards passing + rushing and two touchdowns. Every time a quarterback selected finishes the NFL fantasy week in the top twelve or accumulates 250 yards passing/rushing and two touchdowns, it will be graded as a win. Anything short of that, you guessed it-a loss.

Using ESPN standard scoring / PPR leagues, the quarterback of the week must be 30% or less owned.

Week Seven Game Of Throws Selection

Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns,  $5,800 Draft Kings, 25 % owned in ESPN fantasy leagues

After another winning week in the books with Jameis Winston and his torching of The Atlanta Falcons defense, we switch gears to target a rookie quarterback in Baker Mayfield. The injury is something we will definitely have to monitor this week, and to be honest, he didn’t look like the same quarterback once he suffered the injury at all. With that being said, the matchup is simply too good to go anywhere else as Mayfield gets The Tampa defense that we have targeted all season. Mayfield has had issues connecting with Jarvis Landry all season long, but Tampa has one glaring weakness on the defensive side of the ball, the tight end position.

Austin Hooper built on his career game against The Steelers with an even better one against Tampa, and Tampa has allowed basically career games to every tight end they have faced this season. David Njoku should be primed and ready for his breakout game of the season, even if Landry and Mayfield still struggle to get it going.

Game Of Throw’s Season Record:
