NFL Week Six Betting Odds And Trends

The New England Patriots (3-2) already have two losses, and their three wins have come against teams with a combined record of 6-9 so far. Yet they are in perfect position to end a perfect season for the Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) on Sunday Night Football, sitting as 3.5-point home favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

New England is coming off a 38-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts in the Week 5 Thursday Night Football matchup, improving to 10-4 against the spread in their last 14 prime-time games. The Patriots are also an impressive 10-3-1 ATS in their next game after playing on a Thursday. And they have won 10 in a row straight up at home to go along with a near-perfect 9-1 mark ATS.

The Los Angeles Rams (5-0) are the league’s other remaining unbeaten team, and they will visit the Denver Broncos (2-3) as favorites of a touchdown or more for the fifth consecutive week. The Rams edged the Seattle Seahawks 33-31 last Sunday but did not cover as 7.5-point favorites, and they are seven-point chalk versus the Broncos. The visiting team is just 1-8 SU and 2-7 ATS in the past nine games played between them.

The Seahawks (2-3) will square off against the Oakland Raiders (1-4) in London this week as three-point favorites, although they have failed to cover nine of the previous 12 meetings. While the Raiders have struggled mightily so far this season, they have gone 7-3 SU and ATS in their last 10 games when playing in the early time slot on Sunday.

A key divisional matchup in the AFC North will also kick off early on Sunday when the Cincinnati Bengals (4-1) host the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2-1) as 2.5-point home favorites. Both teams are coming off wins last week, and the Steelers have won six straight in this rivalry, going 4-1-1 ATS and winning the last two at home by 23 points.

Another intriguing AFC game later on Sunday will take place in Nashville, with the Baltimore Ravens (3-2) visiting the Tennessee Titans (3-2) as 2.5-point road favorites. Both teams are coming off losses last week, and the visitor has lost the last three in the series. The Titans have also covered the spread in five straight games at home.

The Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) are tied with Tennessee atop the AFC South, and they are visiting the Dallas Cowboys (2-3) as three-point road favorites. The Jaguars were the latest victims of the Chiefs, getting crushed 30-14 on the road last Sunday as three-point underdogs. However, Jacksonville is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 off an ATS loss.
