This week’s Champions League clashes brought us some surprising results on Tuesday. We were lucky to continue our good fortune picking up +5.4 Units. Barcelona vs Tottenham
A clash between two European Giants, this match promises to bring us action. Barcelona comes into his match on the tails of a 4-0 drubbing to PSV last time out in the Champions League. The Spanish side welcomes this tournament as they have struggled in La Liga, failing to win in three contest.
Two draws and a loss, bring them into this match looking for some type of momentum. In 5 of their last 6 matches, both teams have scored in Barca matches. Tottenham is very similar where both teams have scored in 8 of their last 10 contest. The English side will be looking for 3 points after collapsing vs. Inter in the final 10 minutes of the match.
I expect somewhat of an open match although Barcelona was stingy in last years group stage only conceding one goal. But things have changed and they face a Tottenham club that has scored in 15 straight matches. Spurs won all of their home games in this stage last season and will look to come out with a much-needed win.
Look for both teams to get on the board and I think the home side will find the net vs a Barcelona team that isn’t what they were in the past and have been vulnerable in the back as of late. The only thing that I fear is Tottenham has only kept two clean sheets in their last 10 matches so look for Barca to find the net as well.
