PSG vs Liverpool
The English side made an incredible run in last years competition on the heels of a potent attack, headed by fan-favorite Mohamed Salah. The Reds are an exciting side to watch as they can counter attack at any moment and are coming off setting a record for goals with 47 in the Champions League tournament. The mark they set, was an average of 3.3 goals per match (47 in 15 matches), beating the record of 1999/2000 Barcelona. They have carried their offensive prowess into this years EPL campaign and have won all 5 of their matches this year, scoring at least twice in 4 of the 5 encounters.

The visitors, a vicious French side with arguably one of the most lethal fronts in European soccer. Led by Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Edinson Cavani, PSG look to make it past the second round after back to back exits. The team managed by newly hired Thomas Tuchel was involved in many high scoring affairs last season. Every one of the French sides domestic matches have gone over 2.5 this season, but even more alarming, in the past 2 seasons in this tournament they have seen an average of 4.1 goals per match. Last season they saw 4.4 goals per game alone.
