Monday Night Football Prop Bets: Dolphins vs Panthers

NFL-Week-Ten-Monday-Night-Football-Dolphins-Panthers

Greetings fellow sports market investors and happy Monday Night Football. As a contrarian bettor this continued stretch of favorites winning and covering is negatively affecting my bank roll and after this weekend I am looking to get right on Monday Night.

This week we have a not so stellar matchup between the Jay Cutler led Miami Dolphins and the still in the division hunt Carolina Panthers led by Cam ‘Shaw’ Newton. Will Jay Cutler avoid his usual mistakes on the road? Can Newton provide the level of play we saw in the 2015 Super Bowl run? Will the NFL continue to see a ratings hit in Prime Time games? Those are all relavent questions but Im guessing your here for one simple question, How do I get paid on MNF.

For more in depth NFL analysis check out the Week Ten NFL Picks Podcast where we breakdown and pick all 14 games on the slate.

Monday Night Football Prop Bets – Five Ways to Get Paid

1. Devin Funchess Over 59.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

Kelvin Benjamin was shipped out of town, leaving Cam butt hurt that his best buddy is no longer on the team. But thats alright Cam, you still have the Funchman. You know what else you have Cam? A great matchup against the Dolphins at home who are struggling to stop opposing teams #1 WRs(26th). Play this seemingly low total as Funchess approaches the 100 yard mark tonight.

2. DeVante Parker Over 54.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

The Panthers defense with a healthy Luke Kuechly has been a force this year ranking 5th overall in DVOA. The glaring weakness of this defense has been defending #1 WRs. Jarvis Landry lines up way to much in the slot to be a #1 so Im crowning Parker as that guy. He is dripping athleticism and they will need some big plays from the 6 foot 3 215 pound physical freak. Look for Parker to only need 3-4 catches to overcome this somewhat low total.

3. Over 4.5 Sacks (-125)

Seems as though taking over for sacks on MNF is becoming a tradition here at the Sports Gambling Podcast. These teams combine to give up ~4.7 sacks per game while sacking the QB ~5.2 times per game. This already has me leaning over, then I look at both QBs who tend to hold the ball a tad bit longer than they should and I love this over.

4. Julius Thomas Under 33.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

I love fading recency and with Thomas coming off the biggest game of his season and only the 2nd time he has gone over this yardage total, I love this spot! The Panthers are one of the best teams in the league at shutting down the TE and quite frankly Thomas looks old and slow. I know this number is low, but dont over think it, Keuchly and company will get it done and hold Thomas under his total.

5. Dolphins 1st Quarter Team Total Over .5 (-110)

Christian Pina(@ChristianPina) turned me on to this bet, much like Tony Romo once turned him on. Your telling me I can get almost even odds on the Dolphins just to score a point in the 1st Q?! Ill take it and you should too.

Good luck and Let it Ride!!!
