Here is my complete list of Week Eleven College Football Previews from least important to most important. For more College Football analysis check out the Week 11 College Football Picks Podcast or listen below.

  1. Maine @ Umass

The Black Bears of Maine are from the FCS level and they are just 4-3 at that. Umass is probably the best worst team in America. The Minutemen have blown several close games against quality opponents and even notched a victory against perhaps the sun belts best team in Appalachian State. This shouldn’t be much of a game.

  1. San Jose State @ Nevada

Both these teams have one lone win but Nevada’s was at least against a FBS opponent from their own conference. Plus, the Wolfpack played Northwestern, Colorado State and a few others decently close. San Jose State has literally been blown out by almost every team they have faced. Give me Nevada minus the points.

  1. Troy @ Coastal Carolina

Troy is among the best in the Sun Belt as you saw when they beat LSU in Baton Rouge. Coastal Carolina has one lone win but that didn’t stop them from nearly upsetting Arkansas in their backyard last week. Coastal is a bit better than their record indicates and Troy seems to play down to their competition a lot. Give me Coastal Carolina plus the points.

  1. Tulane @ East Carolina

East Carolina has one of the nation’s worst defenses and well the triple option is coming to town, that’s not a good thing if your defense lacks physicality. The East Carolina offense does seem to be clicking a bit better of late but give me the Tulane Green Wave minus the points.

  1. Kansas @ Texas

Kansas is one of the worst teams in the country. Texas is in a rebuilding year and in desperate need of some victories if they want to go bowling in Tom Herman’s first year. Give me Texas minus the points I guess but I’d stay away from this one with a spread that high.

  1. Ball State @ Northern Illinois (Thursday)

Ball State looks like they have thrown the towel in on the season after a few promising couple of weeks to start the season. They’ve gotten absolutely destroyed of late and well this should probably continue that way. Give me Ball State and the points because NIU runs a lot of clock with their offense.

  1. Southern Miss @ Rice

Southern Miss is coming off a tough loss at Tennessee and well they’re one game away from being bowl eligible so this game means something. Rice is awful. Their defense may just be the worst defense in the nation and well Southern Miss is a quality mid major. Give me Southern Miss minus the points.

  1. Fresno State @ Hawaii

Fresno State only won one game all last season and now if they win out they can play for the Mountain West Championship and win their division. That would be a gigantic upset considering San Diego State not only was picked to win the entire Mountain West but also they were extremely large favorites to win their division. That means Fresno has something to play for and can’t afford to slip. For that reason alone they should roll against Hawaii who has one of the nation’s worst defenses. Give me Fresno minus the points.

  1. Kent State @ Western Michigan (Wednesday)

Western Michigan sure let one get away from them last week and now they’re still a win away from bowl eligibility. Kent State is already thinking about the offseason and which coach they should hire. Give me Western Michigan minus the points.

  1. Uconn @ Central Florida

Central Florida is in perfect position to win out and maybe even be considered for a new years six or playoffs? I know there is no way but who knows what can happen these final weeks. Uconn is awful but man this is a sure lot of points. Give me Uconn plus the points even though UCF will roll.

  1. Louisiana Lafayette @ Ole Miss

Ole Miss showed some fight in them last week with a nice come from behind victory in the final seconds at Kentucky. Perhaps I was wrong about the Rebels throwing in the towel. For that reason alone I’ll take Ole Miss minus the points.

  1. Georgia Southern @ Appalachian State (Thursday)

App State has somewhat been a disappointment this year after being upset by Umass and Louisiana Monroe and now they’ll need to get back to work if they want to secure a bowl game with a nice win against Georgia Southern. These are old school FCS rivals so I think Georgia Southern keeps it closer than expected. Give me Georgia Southern plus the points.

  1. Middle Tennessee @ Charlotte

Middle Tennessee has been another one of my disappointing teams this year. I know they lost their QB but 4-5 is not going to cut it thus far and if they want to make a bowl game this is a must win. Charlotte has one win all season and it came against a bowl team in UAB. I think Middle Tennessee knows how bad they need this win so give me the Blue Raiders minus the points.

  1. UTEP @ North Texas

UTEP remains winless! I’m not sure how that happens when you consider San Jose State, East Carolina, Rice & Charlotte all found ways to get wins. North Texas is a contender in the Conference USA so this is a must win game for them. Give me UTEP plus the large points though.

  1. Old Dominion @ Florida International

I mean who could of known that Florida International would be this good this fast? Old Dominion was supposed to be rebuilding but were thought to still be a bowl team and that’s just not going to happen. Give me Florida International minus the points.

  1. Georgia State @ Texas State

Georgia State has been another surprise team this year and Texas State well Texas State is still a few years away. Georgia State started the season with a loss to a FCS team and then got destroyed by Penn State but then they somehow figured out something and has been pretty good ever since. Give me Georgia State minus the points.

  1. Rutgers @ Penn State

Boy what a difference two weeks can make. Penn State was headed to the playoffs before back to back losses to Ohio State and Michigan State and now it’s time to get back on track. Rutgers has won three of the past four games and are really improving as a team. For that reason alone I’m taking the Scarlet Knights plus the points.

  1. Temple @ Cincinnati (Friday)

This game shouldn’t be much when it comes to excitement but it should be a close game. Temple still is fighting for an outside chance of making a bowl game. With that said give me Cincinnati and the points for this should be a close one.

  1. Bowling Green @ Buffalo (Tuesday)

Bowling Green is a terrible defensive team but the offense has been somewhat decent. Buffalo has really exceeded expectations and still has hopes of sneaking into a bowl game. Buffalo isn’t known for blowing teams out though so give me Bowling Green and the points.

  1. New Mexico @ Texas A&M

New Mexico is in the midst of a surprisingly bad season and now they have to go on the road to a SEC teams house. Texas A&M is already planning for a new head coach to be there next year but Sumlin finds ways to beat the teams he should beat. Give me Texas A&M minus the points.

  1. Oregon State @ Arizona

Oregon State just can’t seem to do anything right. They had the game won against Stanford a few weeks back and was running out the clock before their running back fumbled. Last week they simply couldn’t match Cal and now comes a pretty good Arizona team. OSU covers but Arizona gets back on the winning track.

  1. Arkansas State @ South Alabama

Arkansas State is playing really good football and although South Alabama has been known to upset teams in their home stadium this Arkansas State team is just too good. Give me Arkansas State minus the points.

  1. Texas Tech @ Baylor

Baylor finally got their first win of the Matt Rhule era last week against Kansas. Texas Tech seems to be sliding the wrong direction after a nice 4-0 start. Baylor still has to develop consistency so give me Texas Tech minus the points.

  1. Indiana @ Illinois

Indiana has to be another one of those decent teams with a terrible record. They’ve played some of the big boys really tough but just found a way to come up short. Illinois is still a couple years away from being decent. Give me Indiana minus the points.

  1. BYU @ UNLV (Friday)

BYU has to be one of the nation’s most disappointing teams this year. They have just two wins and those were against FCS Portland State and the mountain west’s worst team in San Jose State. UNLV started the year with a terrible loss to FCS Howard but now if they can get this win they just might be able to make a bowl game. Give me UNLV minus the points.

  1. Eastern Michigan @ Central Michigan (Wednesday)

Eastern Michigan has still covered every single game this season and guess what? They’re road favorites this week against CMU. I think Eastern Michigan continues their ways with a nice road win at CMU.

  1. North Carolina @ Pittsburgh (Friday)

UNC fans are already waiting for basketball season since the Tarheels have just one lone win but Pittsburgh who started the season off terrible may just be able to salvage their season and make a bowl game. Give me the Tarheels and the points since they are coming off a much needed week off.

  1. Michigan @ Maryland

Michigan seems to have found something after really struggling offensively throughout most the season. Maryland has had tough luck with all the injuries they have suffered this season. Give me Harbaugh and the Wolverines minus the points.

  1. UAB @ UTSA

UAB is in their first year of resurrecting their football program and they are already bowl eligible! That’s pretty amazing considering they were projected to win just a game or two by most publications. UTSA is good but has been somewhat of a disappointment. Give me UAB plus the points.

  1. Akron @ Miami (OH) (Tuesday)

Akron is looking to solidify their bowl season hopes while Miami (OH) is looking to remain in the hunt for a possible bowl game. Miami (OH) came into the season as favorites but have really disappointed. Give me the Zips plus the points on the road.

  1. Duke @ Army

The Blue Devils really could use this win if they want to go bowling and well Army is alreay locked and loaded in yet another bowl game. Duke really matches up well against Army since they had last week off and they play Georgia Tech and triple option every year within their own division. Give me the Blue Devils minus the points.

  1. Nebraska @ Minnesota

I mean both coaches really need a win at this point but Nebraska has more talent right? Fleck may work some magic but I’m rolling with talent. Give me Nebraska in this one.

  1. Kentucky @ Vanderbilt

Kentucky really let me down last week at home against Ole Miss which is why I think revenge is on their mind as they face a Vanderbilt team that has really struggled against the SEC. Give me the Wildcats plus the points in Nashville.

  1. Tennessee @ Missouri

Woah. Where was this Missouri team at the beginning of the year? The offense has been decent all year but now the defense is showing up and now suddenly people in Columbia are thinking bowl game. Give me Mizzou minus the points against a crumbling Tennessee team.

  1. Wake Forest @ Syracuse

This should be a close game. Syracuse is always dangerous when they play at home in the dome. Wake has been playing better than expected all year which is why i’m taking Wake minus the point.

  1. Arizona State @ UCLA

Coming into the season I would of guessed Jim Mora would of found a way to salvage his job and Todd Graham would be the one being replaced but it appears it’s going to be the exact opposite. Give me ASU in this one.

  1. Virginia @ Louisville

Louisville has to be one the pre season’s most overrated teams meanwhile Virginia has to be one of the nation’s biggest surprise teams. I look for that to continue. Give me the Cavs plus the points on the road.

  1. Florida Atlantic @ Louisiana Tech

Lane Kiffin is really doing a great job at FAU and for the most part he has passed all tests within the conference USA but here comes another test. Louisiana Tech is having a bit of a down year but this is still a dangerous and tough team that can still make a bowl. Give me La Tech and the points.

  1. SMU @ Navy

SMU has been a pretty quality team thus far this season but here comes the triple option attack and boy do the midshipmen need a victory. I can’t see Navy losing this many in a row. Give me Navy plus the points.

  1. Western Kentucky @ Marshall

Both of these teams used to be the favorites in the Conference USA so this has somewhat turned into a decent rivalry. Both teams are still good and should be bowling come december but they’ve taken a backseat to others. Give me Western Kentucky and the points.

  1. Purdue @ Northwestern

This is always a tough game to predict even when these teams are at their worst. Northwestern started the season off cold but suddenly has found their way. Purdue is a bit of the opposite. The Boilermakers started off somewhat hot and now have struggled the past few weeks. Give me Purdue to cover.

  1. USC @ Colorado

USC is basically all but a lock for the Pac 12 championship they’d have to lose to both Colorado and UCLA and Arizona would or ASU would have to win out. Colorado had the game won last week at Arizona State but managed to give the game away in the final minutes. The Buffs are playing for a bowl berth so perhaps they play up for this one. Give me the Buffs and the points.

  1. Wyoming @ Air Force

Air Force got blanked at home by Army last week so I’m sure it’s been a tough week for the Falcons in Colorado Springs. Wyoming is fresh off an upset of Colorado State and now appear to be a player in the division. Give me Wyoming and the points.

  1. Washington State @ Utah

Utah has been a really inconsistent team this year so I’m not sure which Utes team is going to show up. Washington State is still in control of their own fate within their division so this is a must win game for the Cougars. Give me the Cougs to win minus the point.

  1. Boise State @ Colorado State

Must watch Mountain West TV! This game is huge for the division. If Boise State wins they most likely run off with the division. If Colorado State wins then CSU, Boise and Wyoming are all playing for the Mountain West Championship Game in the final weeks. Colorado State is coming off a tough loss at Wyoming so give me the Rams plus the points at home.

  1. Florida @ South Carolina

Florida and Florida State not bowling in the same year? Not sure when the last time that happened was. Florida is just a mess and you saw that last week when they got destroyed at Missouri. South Carolina on the other hand is exceeding expectations again. Despite having some critical injuries this year the Gamecocks are continuing to build the program in the right direction. Look for that to continue. Give me the Gamecocks minus the points.

  1. Toledo @ Ohio (Wednesday)

Christmas has come early when it comes to the MAC. The top two teams in the MAC square off in a beautiful must see Wednesday night TV matchup. Last year Ohio upset Toledo in their own backyard, this year I think Toledo gives Ohio a bit of their own medicine. Give me Toledo minus the points.

  1. Arkansas @ LSU

LSU just got done losing their super bowl, the game they’ve had circled all year. Arkansas has been a mess all year long and Brett Bielema should be fired. With that said the spread is just too high. Give me Arkansas and the points although LSU gets the W.

  1. Florida State @ Clemson

This was supposed to be the top game this weekend but preseason rankings are a bunch of BS. Yeah I’m aware they got hit with the injury bug, but at the same time I’m not ready to believe they were title contenders when they lose by 30 at Boston College. Clemson just got done with two huge games and they’ve had this one penciled in as a win. This is FSU’s super bowl game. So give me Florida State and the points.

  1. Iowa @ Wisconsin

Iowa may be fresh off the blowout win against Ohio State but this teams defense will keep them in any game. Wisconsin is a double digit favorite but I’ll continue to ride the hawkeyes even though the Badgers probably get the win.

  1. West Virginia @ Kansas State

West Virginia has really struggled on the road this season and Kansas State has a bowl berth in their site. Bill Snyder will have his team ready despite being on their third string quarterback. Give me Kansas State and the points at home.

  1. NC State @ Boston College

What a classic time to fade NC State. Coming off a huge loss where they essentially lost the chance to play for the ACC Championship. Meanwhile Boston College has been rolling of late and they even had a week to prepare for this one. Plus it’s going to be pretty cold in Boston on Saturday. Give me Boston College and the points.

  1. Virginia Tech @ Georgia Tech

Virginia Tech may have dropped the ball in both their losses this year but even worse is dropping the ball and then having to prepare for the Georgia Tech option attack on the road. Va Tech stumbles here. Give me Georgia Tech and the points.

  1. Oklahoma State @ Iowa State

Ok State seems to always struggle at Iowa State and now all of a sudden Iowa State is a legit football team. Oklahoma State also just lost their biggest game of the season so the chips are down. Give me Iowa State plus the points at home.

  1. Alabama @ Mississippi State

I’m not sure this will be much of a game but I’ll be rooting for Miss State. Bama has absolutely destroyed them of late so that’s not a good thing for Dan Mullen. The argument against Bama would be they haven’t really played anyone good and none on the road. Could the cowbells in Starkville rattle the Crimson Tide? I doubt it, give me the Tide minus the points.

  1. Washington @ Stanford (Friday)

A huge Pac 12 north game on a Friday night is always good for us. Stanford is a bit overrated if you ask me and Washington despite suffering some really unfortunate injuries may be a bit underrated. Give me Washington minus the points.

  1. Michigan State @ Ohio State

I warned you about Ohio State and not being able to throw the ball downfield. Now their playoff chances are very very unlikely no matter if they win their division. This season the Buckeyes underachieved. Michigan State on the other hand really overachieved and for some reason or another they always play Ohio State tough. For that reason alone I’m taking the Spartans plus the points.

  1. Georgia @ Auburn

I really didn’t think this would be the biggest game for the week if you would have asked me in August but Georgia has really made a fool out of me. Auburn on the other hand I was somewhat right about. They have a great defense and a very inconsistent offense. Georgia is due for a shaky performance and I think Auburn has the right medicine to finally get to the Bulldogs QB. Give me Auburn plus the points.
