I went 4-1 in my picks last week and should of went 5-0 if ECU coach Ruffin McNeal would of started passing QB Blake Kemp instead of running QB James Summers playing right into the strength of the Huskies team. This weeks picks:
NC State -4 @Boston College
I can hear the BC faithful in their shitty little Boston accents vomiting complaints about how bad the passing game is and their right it’s the worst in the county. As annoying as those accents are get ready to hear those complaints get a little louder.
NC State does have questions on defense letting the Clemson Tigers rack up 50 plus points but thankfully they get the BC offense this week. Take the Wolfpack -4.
Oregon -4.5 vs California
Oregon’s wearing brand new uniforms for tenth million time this decade. Yep, Nike creator and Oregon alum Phil Knight keeps the uniforms changing more than Cleveland Brown quarterbacks.
Vernon Adams is back at QB for the Ducks and they rarely lose in Eugene so I’m not sure who’ll have more work cut out for them the Chinese ten year olds in Phil Knights sweatshops or the California Golden Bear Defense. Take the Ducks -4.5
Florida State +12.5 @ Clemson
Clemson is #1 in the college football playoff polls but still they didn’t create the term “Clemsoning” for a reason. “Clemsoning- the act of delivering an inexplicably disappointing performance usually within the context of a college football season.”
Look I’m not saying the Tigers are gonna lose out right, but it wouldn’t surprise me. Take the Seminoles and the twelve and a half points.
Marshall +3 @ Middle Tennessee State
Not sure how the Thundering Herd are getting three points here. The Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee are a lively bunch sure, but Murfeesboro, Tennessee is hardly a challenging place to play at. Sure, they probably have the best Wal Marts in the country but stick with Marshall for the best blue light sale of the week. Shop till you drop people.
Cincinnati +8 @ Houston
Houston is undefeated and are bound to slip up somewhere. Personally I hope the Houston Cougars remain unbeaten however 8 points is just too much when talking about the Bearcats who have been getting better each week.
Cincy’s coach is former Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville, who’s so redneck you’ll need the closed caption button on your remote to fathom what the hell he just said This game has shootout written all over it. Take the redneck coach and the points.
