It’s almost that time of year when all the best sports are played at once. It’s just 15 days until the NFL’s Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. Major League Baseball is back in full swing after their All-Star break. An All-Star break in which the National League did the seemingly impossible by ending the American Leagues’ decade-plus winning streak.

The MLB Gambling Podcast is one of the most popular shows on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network, and for good reason! The guys at the MLB Gambling Podcast cover every game, every day, giving their best bets. Host Munaf Manji has a 281-255-8 record on the 2023 MLB season ( per TallySight). He is one of SGPN’s most prolific baseball bettors, and he proved it this week when he nailed this San Francisco Giant run line play versus the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Giants entered that game as -158 favorites, and the run line was set at +110. It was a cagey, low-scoring affair that was tied late into the game. San Francisco’s Michael Conforto broke up the tie with an RBI single. He drove in one run with his line drive, making the score 2-1, but Pirates catcher Jason Delay helped Munaf cover the run line.
In an unsuccessful attempt to hold Conforto from getting to second, Delay had a wild throw to second base allowing the lead runner to score and for Michael Conforto to reach second. The score was now 3-1 and would end that way.
