Games to Watch
One of the games you need to check out this week is the matchup between Charlotte FC vs. NY Red Bulls. This Charlotte team is looking for a way to win back some trust from their supporters recently. There was recently a list of the most bet North Carolina teams, and Charlotte FC didn’t even make the list. That’s not good.
While the team hasn’t seen wholesale changes, they are looking to change up some style of play, which could make for an interesting match versus the New York Red Bull. New York has only lost two home games out of the eight they have played this year, but that doesn’t mean they are a great team. They sit in 12th place out of 15th in the Eastern Conference mainly because they have only won four games this year. This game might scream draw, but that makes it one of the best games to watch this week.
Dynamo To Dominate
We have another exciting match that MLS fans should be looking forward to. The Houston Dynamo are taking on the San Jose Earthquakes. These two teams sit in 4th and 5th place in the Western Conference and have been playing really competitive games. Houston just dominated last year’s champions, LAFC, twice. Shutting them out at home and on the road while scoring five goals in two games. San Jose, on the other hand, has just beat Philadelphia and played a 0-0 draw against Portland. It was two home games in a row, so now that they hit the road, their style of play could be different. San Jose has been one of the worst teams in MLS when it comes to playing on the road. The Earthquakes have only won one away game. Their away record is 1-5-3 this year. But you know what they say? Goonies never say die!
